The bed was comfortable, and the room was well appointed. The hotel in general was quiet.

One of the best stays we have had!! Very comfortable room! Loved having small couch for exta seating. Really appreciated that the king bed was easy to get into. Didn't need a step stool! Staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. Bonus was the hot breakfast, I was not expecting. The hotel was very clean and looked newer. Would definitely stay again when in the area!

The host rudely stated that my pet is not allowed in the room if I am not there. She continued to insist that I am not allowed to go to dinner unless I take my dog. It’s illegal to leave your pet in a car. I have never, in 30 years of traveling with my pets, EVER been told this!! The only good thing is they quickly refunded my money for the 2 rooms for 2 nights. Super 8 was more than accommodating

Nothing at all reason I don’t stay here is because it’s always a problem when booking. If I book a double room it’s a reason and to check in and be told I have to be specific when booking. Well I specifically selected a double room when I booked it and to top it off I was still charged for a double room rate.
A complimentary grab and go breakfast and free Wi-Fi connectivity are offered at this New Iberia motel. The Tabasco Factory is 7 miles from the motel.

The room was very dirty. The carpet and fabric chair were very stained. I checked in late and was tired, so initially did not notice. When I reported it as I check out the following day, the desk man became very angry with me, saying I should have asked for a room change. He was very argumentative and disagreeable.
The room is not in a desirable area.
I definitely would not recommend anyone stay at this property.
I will no longer use Booking. Two years ago you booked me into a property in Louisville, KY that was even dirtier than this one, and was in a dangerous location. I had booked for 2 nights, but only stayed one because of the dirt and dangerous location. I never got a refund for the 2d night.

The price for the room was reasonable.
The price for the room was reasonable. Some fixtures were old or outdated and needed to be replaced, ie carpet, lamp switches. It was clean except for the stained and worn carpet which may have been clean but did not appear so. The staff was friendly and called me by name as we exchanged greetings on passing. The breakfast was good with some hot items. The bed and pillows were clean and comfortable. The location was safe. Overall it was what I would expect for the price of the room.

Clean room but the motel looks run down on the outside.
Clean room but the motel looks run down on the outside.
The perimeter needs to be spruced up. Old renovation debri laying around as we looked out the room window.
Toilet ran continuously unless the toilet handle was jiggled.
Very comfortable bed and the bed linens were very nice !!
Excellent location with a beautiful view from the back porch. The hosts are really exceptional and are quick communicators via the Booking.com app. We had a quiet, three-night stay and would gladly stay again. The best part about this place is that our needs were met and our wants were anticipated. Little touches like comfy toilet paper made our stay even better (unlike the places that only give you 1-ply!). Thoughtfully decorated and fun to stay, I'd recommend this place to anyone.
This was a perfect stop and so close to Avery Island. The home was so cozy and comfortable. We had stayed previously at a hotel and was so appreciative of the comfortable mattresses. We finally got a good night's rest. Our hosts had thoughtful treats awaiting us. We left some items behind and the host mailed them to us, which is above and beyond! We will absolutely stay here again!
Chateau Royale was just a little piece of heaven, the location on the bayou was so romantic & a stones throw from some of the coolest bars & eateries in New Iberia.
Mickey & Tiffany ought to b very proud of their beautiful place, the decor was fabulous & new things kept catching my eye. It was extremely well equipped & one couldn't fail to enjoy. Thank u.
The hotel was as expected. The location is not fantrastic, however nobody can claim to be surprised by this after a quick glance at Google maps. All facilities were as expected for a Holiday Inn Express and Suites, as was the rather bland breakfast, so cannot say anything that it was satisfactory
My fiance and I have been staying at this hotel for a couple years off and on. This is the only hotel in New Iberia we stay at. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The hotel is clean. The location is perfect for the activities we enjoy.
This is the most difficult review I've written for our Florida to Arizona cross-country journey because this is a reasonably priced, clean and bright hotel in a good loction with good facilities. BUT read on below ......
The Desk clerk Ms.Elizabeth was such a sweetheart and so hopefully with anything I needed. The room was clean, first time actually being in a hotel that didn't have a funky smell.
Relatively cheap compared to nearby options. That's it. I can't really think of anything else I liked. The guy at the front desk (owner/manager I assume) was very nice.
