Traveling around the area, going on swamp tour, went to Baton Rouge to the old capitol building was beautiful. Went to plantation was awesome.
Went to Holly beach was great. Went to the Tabasco plant and took tour and viewed the gardens, went to Rip Van WInkle house was very interesting. Went to the zoo in Baton Rouge was a little disappointed not all the animals were out and they are remodeling so only seen 1/3 of the grounds. Went to antique stores , recommend the Red School House that was so cool, and nice. very organized.
I would not recommend New Orleans experience was horrible, city is trash with graffti all over and not so friendly people.

Place was nice and clean.
Place was nice and clean. Don't like location of other property. Was not near what I was going to stay for. Venue was in town. I could have walked there. Original location had a leek in kitchen. My reservation was moved to the other place. Nice but not what I wanted. Kind of disappointed.

Lafayette is a hidden gem that left a lasting impression on me. The city's rich cultural heritage and vibrant atmosphere make it a truly unique place to visit. From its lively music scene to its captivating art galleries, there was no shortage of entertainment options.
The Cajun State Fair, with its lively atmosphere and entertaining attractions, offered a wonderful opportunity to immerse oneself in the local culture and experience the vibrant spirit of Lafayette.

Very relaxing & extremely friendly people everywhere you go!
Very relaxing & extremely friendly people everywhere you go! We’re from California, so the humidity really took some getting used to! Hot from morning to evening in July. Mosquitoes were not horrible, but bug spray is a must. Gorgeous terrain-green everywhere & easy to get around to all of the sights. Would definitely return.

Lafayette is great!
Lafayette is great! There are many different restaurants to go to, and many historic Catholic Churches, if that’s what you’re in to. Downtown is great, with many different eatery options that are all pretty affordable and really delicious! Getting around the city is somewhat easy, parking can be tricky though. The last time I went the main parking deck was closed off so we had to find somewhere else to park. Everything is easily walked to in downtown though.
I traveled with a pet and was charged 150.00 for my pet when I booked the room there was no mention of this to me thru the website if I had known that it cost 150.00 dollars for my dog which was more than I paid for myself I would not have stayed.I have stayed at several hotels throughout the US and this was the first time I have ever been charged an outrageous amount for my dog
I didn't like nothing cause my sister made the reservation for me and my family we drove 10hrs get to hotel with family about midnight they couldn't find my reservation and I had confirmation and pin elevator didn't work and had to walk to 3rd floor with my newborn and family room was nasty but was just too tired to go somewhere else
We stayed in the one in Fort Worth Texas for 3 days before we came to this one this one the room just wasn't as clean and well maintained we also stayed at the same exact Hotel one year ago and the same room and it was in better condition I would say it's time that Holiday Inn put in a little extra money to the quality of the rooms
We had planned to have breakfast at the hotel before we went on our adventures in Lafayette and surrounding areas. The website did not disclose “no breakfast “ . Muffins were offered and coffee. Oh well. We got in after midnight the room was ready . Otherwise the beds were comfy and the bathroom clean.
Excellent full, hot breakfast. The hotel staff is very helpful and friendly. My hotel reservation was canceled for some reason, but fortunately, the desk agent was able to book a room for me on the spot. The River Ranch area is beautiful and has many conveniences.
The hotel is super clean with very friendly staff and they provided really nice recommendations on what to do and where to eat in town. Rooms were much bigger than I had expected, beds were very comfortable and bathroom was extremally clean.
Nothing because we booked a room two weeks ago for a softball tournament and we went to check in last night and they did not have us a room because they said they were over booked so we had to run around for two hours looking for a hotel
Room was clean. Glad there was breakfast. Didn't use pool. The hotel was okay. My opinion overall would be that the hotel was clean and nice, but it way overpriced.
wonderful accommodations dinner breakfast all included wonderful room could tell it was an independent not a cookie-cutter hotel. Would highly recommend.
