The location of the house was very ideal for lake access and shopping. Hist was very friendly and wantd us to notify him if we needed anything. I will definitely be back next year for our annual fishing trip.

We went during the total solar eclipse. They were fully booked in their little lodge so they gave us a cottage instead. That was a lovely upgrade. Though the cottage was not modern, it had a small kitchen and two TVs. It was comfortable and more than what we needed. We had a great time relaxing and resting by the lake. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Would stay here again if we're in the area.

The motel was super squeaky clean.
The motel was super squeaky clean. It was an older place but refurbished and everything worked. And as I say squeaky clean. The owners were delightful folks. Helion, the owner lady, has paintings in every room. Surprise surprise, she is the artist! And she is very very good. She sells her art to support charitable entities in the area. We bought a print and are very happy. The breakfast provided was a continental style with fresh fruit and bakery items. We will definitely be back. We feel like we’ve found new friends. Book your stay with confidence.

Murray is a clean and friendly community.
Murray is a clean and friendly community. Great place to raise a family, retire and or get an education. The most beautiful lakes are a 20 minute drive away where you can hunt, hike, fish, boat and swim to your hearts content. Love this place.

I hit some of the shops in Murray and had some dinner at Big...
I hit some of the shops in Murray and had some dinner at Big Apple Grill. Met some very nice folks there and they have nightly activities so I stayed for those. Nice clean college town with plenty to do for visitors.

The Red Roof Inn what's the worst hotel ever stayed at I would not recommend this to anyone Murray Kentucky has very friendly people but I ran into some problems with the manager at the Red Roof Inn the air conditioner didn't work the windows were broke the room smelled

Friendly people.
Friendly people. I used the library for some study and research and once again, the staff was helpful and polite. Local coffee shops were a delight to uncover! (But I wish we had known that Future Grounds was open until 9, online said only until 6 and we were searching later for a good cup.)
