The most comfortable bed in any hotel we've ever stayed in.

The most comfortable bed in any hotel we've ever stayed in. It was nice to have a pillow selection (soft/firm). Blackout shades were a plus (again, never had the option in any other hotel room). Breakfast selection was very good. Wi-fi worked.

Overall, it was pleasant except the wi-fi was not working the night we were there. The facility is a little dated and needs some upgrades. The entire team there was excellent! Breakfast was complete and available. Views were very good. Noise at this property was not a problem as it is at other properties that abut 25E (the main road) in Middlesboro.

Middlesboro is a great take-off location for Fall Foliage...

Middlesboro is a great take-off location for Fall Foliage Trips. It is as good as any area in the United States for Fall Foliage. There are many state parks that have free entry, as well as scenic overlooks off of some of the highways. There are several sites that are within ten miles of Middlesboro, as well as many that are within seventy miles. Whether you are into hiking ir scenic drives, this is a great location for mountain sites, as well as mountain lakes.

We met the friendliest staff there on our entire weeklong trip. They provided good suggestions for dinner and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The smiles on their faces were constant and their were genuine. I'd go to this facility again without reservation.

Be careful when you visit the parks around here.

Be careful when you visit the parks around here. They are very clean and beautiful, however most of the sights require some walking and hiking. If you do not want to hike some distances, don't plan a lot of time, only a few things to see from the car. For most this will be fine, but my wife has trouble walking and we did not realize how much walking was involved. I did what I could without leaving her alone very long. If you like to walk and hike, this area is great, very quite and un crowded. Great place to see and experience the peace and wonders of God's creation.
