Port Charlotte looks like it is going downhill.

Port Charlotte looks like it is going downhill. Some malls had only a few stores and many stores have left the malls. Empty stores. Dirty unkept areas, boulevards, parking lots were seen everywhere. Garbage was noticed in parking lots, and along roadways. We won’t be back. Nicer areas in Florida to visit. Port Charlotte is not one of them.

The rooms are large, 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, small kitchen but is quite adequate. The condo is dated but clean. Great pool area. Parking is below the condo complex so covered parking. Big screened in porch with a couple of chairs and small table. Great value for the price.

It was a very outdated but clean home.

It was a very outdated but clean home. Only the bathrooms had newer counters. Master bath had a commode that was very old, noisy, short and small. Since it is not easy to rent a house similar to the one owned we managed to function. It could be a higher rated house if a total remodeling/upgrading was done.

One of my favorite areas of Florida.

One of my favorite areas of Florida. Close to Boca Grande and kayaking in the turquoise water. Close to Fisherman’s Village in Punta Gorda with the great shops and restaurant selections. Don’t forget Port Charlotte, it is a wonderful town with lots to do fir everyone!

Everything! The staff is very friendly, the property is very clean. My family and I had to extend our stay due to a tropical storm going through Tampa. When I explained the issue to the front desk he advised me he wasn’t sure if I would be able to but he would try his best to get the stay extended. Upon my return to the hotel he mentioned to me he was able to extend the stay. It was such a relief for me and lifted a weight off my shoulders. We are in town for my fathers passing and if I’m ever in town again, this will be my place to stay.

The house was fully furnished and had everything for cooking, swimming, biking, and fishing. Easy location. The pool was very relaxing and fun. Very nice home for the less cost than a hotel and it's private. I will be staying again as we travel there again to see family.

I loved the hotel it was newer and very clean. Our room was perfect. The staff was exceptional. When our shuttle didn't arrive they were able to find a replacement shuttle for us which we appreciated as we aren't local.

Four week rent (Jan/Feb 2024) matched the quality of the holiday home, its location and the availibility of many shops/restaurants in Port Charlotte.
