Getting around Gainesville is very easy.
Getting around Gainesville is very easy. There's lots to do there. We visited the Butterfly Exhibit but did not have enough time to see the Museum of Natural History or the Art Museum. No lack of dining options. We chose to dine at Carabbas and both the service and food didn't disappoint. Lots of places to shop. With the University of Florida located there, it provided for a very youthful environment which we totally enjoyed. This is a town worthy of a visit.

Easy to get around.
Easy to get around. On Archer Rd and around the I75 exit, there was every store/resturant you could imagine. Gainesville is definitely a college town. Shands Hospital is wonderful and very conveniently located.

Loved university of FL! We went for a college tour.
Loved university of FL! We went for a college tour. While our walking tour was cancelled due to rain, the students did an excellent job speaking and telling us about the highlights of the school. We were lucky to have spent time walking around the day before. It’s a beautiful school. Very impressed. Also….Sweet Pete’s candy shop was awesome!! So much fun to walk through a 3 story candy shop! Beautifully decorated for fall/Halloween! Yummy too! 😍

Well Gainesville around UF is very much a college town and a bit run down. Away from the University it had several nice looking neigborhoods but without UF, Gainsville would not have much going for it.
Room is so dirty. They replaced a/c but did not clean properly. They left the broken a/c in front of the door.
2. Somebody used toilet and did not even flush the shit. They gave that room to us.
I stayed in Extended stay in Stuart (for 2 months) in florida in 2010 and we never had a complaint.
Gainsville experience is the worst in my travel.
The breakfast was horrible if i wanted a honeybun for breakfast i could have gone to walmart for a box and a cheaper hotel that didnt include breakfast. Ive been to many hotels and i have never been to one that doesnt serve actual breakfast. I will never stay here again. Very disappointed i would recommend this place to no one.
You know what your going to get when you book a quick hotel at last minute. Very convenient, very close to everything you need.
The bars on the after hour check in window was surprising 🤣
I guess Gainesville can get nasty.
The room for the price and for the quick convenience was great
Breakfast was great. Plenty of choices and lots of room to eat.

Hotel is centrally located. There are lots of eating and shopping opportunities nearby.
Evening kickoff--food and drinks available between 5:30-7:00 pm!
The hotel was clean and comfortable, the staff very friendly and helpful, the location very close to 75 and the University of Florida in Gainesville, with two restaurants right next door to it. Would go back. A real find and economical.
The location was great, super close to UF Shands. Has a great area full of different locations to shop and to grab a bite of food. Super clean hotel and loved the view of the pool from our room. Room was clean and very spacious!
At first, they were very polite and even let us check in early. The outside of the hotel is very nice looking with a fresh paint job. The rooms also, at first glance, looked nice.
It went downhill very fast though.
Tia, night shift front desk was amazing. Super friendly and helpful. Hotel is clean, quiet, wonderful breakfast options, comfy beds and pillows. We always stay here when coming to Gainesville. Family friendly.
We'd been looking forward to this stay - in fact, we included Gainesville in our road trip just so we could stay here! And it didn't dissapoint. Thank you for everything, we had a great stay.
Breakfast was superb as always. This is my "go to" hotel when I am in Gainesville. The staff are always friendly and they are very accommodating when needs arise.
