Crystal River is an adorable little beach town full of nature loving people, artists, veterans, and retirees. We had a wonderful time there snorkeling with manatees, boating, kayaking, and exploring Heritage Village. Highly recommended for a long weekend trip.

Three sisters spring was very nice saw a lot of manatees and the trails were nice. Parking was limited. Kayak rental was pricey and not worth it. We did see manatees but the bay was crowded the water murky until you got near the springs. Would not recommend kayaking in the bay and channels. There are much better places to kayak . If you love seafood eat at the Crab Plant. Casual dining with great food and a big variety of fresh caught seafood.

Crystal River is the most beautiful little town we have ever visited. Everything is manatee-themed, even down to some of the streetlights! There are lots of things to do, especially if you love nature and wildlife. Scalloping, hiking, swimming with manatees, and kayaking just to name a few. There are also lots of great dining options available, especially the seafood! It is a cultural hotspot as well, with lots of murals, galleries, museums, and historical sites to see. We will definitely be back and hope to stay longer next time.

The best birthday vacation.
The best birthday vacation. Main goal was to snorkel with manatees. Was able to pack a lot of activities into each day since towns are so close together. The best place for outdoor activities and water activities. Lots of history. Many parks and trails for walking. hiking, or biking. The locals are so nice and engaging. They make you feel welcome, and the few times I drove anywhere I did not encounter impatient or rude drivers. They just move around you and ignore the pokey tourist. Such a nice place to visit and they make you feel safe there. And lots of fresh seafood!

They hold an extra 100 dollars on my charge card in case I am a bad actor but when my next room neighbor has a car on Jack's and music on blast all day no action. There was and argument outside my door for about half hour the first night at 3 a.m. The second night it was music on blast all night and loads of people. We left in the night and went elsewhere but had to come back in the a.m. to make sure we got our depoited/ hold money let go of. Horrible policy THAT is!!
Short walk to the water with easy kayak or paddleboard access. They even have a place to lock up and store your paddle craft. The motel has been renovated over the past 4 years and is by far the nicest place to stay in Crystal River! Nice modern and spacious rooms and the shower was fantastic! Cant forget the delicious pastries dropped off at your door every evening! What a great touch. I highly recommend staying here on your next visit to Crystal River.
Honestly, there was not much I did like. I guess it was better than sleeping in my car for the night, but at the price they charged for the value I received I would have seriously considered it. There are other options in town, like what looked like a newly built Best Western -- I should have just stayed there in hindsight.
Great little hotel near to the town centre. Lovely staff. Facilities were limited which they emailed me about AFTER I had booked (pool and hottub damage because of hurricane Idalia). More building going on in the midst of the hotel (new cafe being built) but hotel was comfy, clean, Nice breakfast and staff were superb.
Beautiful place, very quiet but walkable a local beach and Explorida Manatee experience office. They give discount to guests from this hotel. The grounds are so pretty and the rooms are very well looked after. Like others have mentioned, the complimentary Danish pastries are a lovely touch and so fresh and delicious!
Terrible, you felt like you were asking the staff for a favour all the time, everything was way too much trouble. Rooms are dark and dirty and in desperate need of upgrading. The most depressing hotel I have ever stayed in which is a real shame as the location is great.
Everything! The hotel is so nice and you feel like you are coming home! The location of the hotel is great too. Close to everything you need! But the best there is Tina. She takes care of everything and makes the best breakfast. You will love it!
The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the owner Bob and the manager Tina were amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Crystal River.
Was great for scallops seasoned. It was nice to have a boat ramp next to the hotel it’s easy to get to the main channel. Very pet friendly. Also nice that the Denny’s connected to the hotel.
An old hotel, but absolut charming. There was problem with the electrcity and in a few minutes we got a new room. Go the the restaurant. Very friendly staff and amazing seafood.
Teresa and Daniel were terrific hosts. The gourmet breakfast was world-class terrific. The room had TLC and interesting decore. Lovely quit spot on the water.
Always great customer service a very clean and quiet hotel Hampton is the best chain as far as I'm concerned and a quick commute to all local vacation spots!
