Arcadia is an interesting little town, with a varied community of folks, all of whom we found to be friendly, and some good restaurants, numerous antique stores, and a few attractions nearby. We went canoeing on the Peace River, attended one of the many churches, and bought some homemade bread at the Mennonite grocery. The town is very quiet at night, suited us fine....we watched movies on Netflix. Ate at Mary Margaret's Tearoom several times...it was really good, and we also ate at the Yellow Deli where we were entertained by the staff who played violin and guitar. Visited the ReStore, best thrift store ever! All within walking distance of the Oak Park Inn!

The Hotel was very well located in downtown Arcadia.

The Hotel was very well located in downtown Arcadia. The plan was to explore peace river. I had the best trip for this opportunity. The Hotel staff and owners were very friendly and helpful in every way. I would come back here if I were to do this trip again. The Country fair was a lot of fun and we met a lot of fun people. Downtown Arcadia was a little slow on activities. The antique stores close early at 4PM. I wish I would have had more time to explore.
