Beautiful area, but not much to do. Restaurants are expensive, drivers are crazy, people are rude. No real entertainment either- bowling alleys, movies, golf, etc
Went to bass pro and they had a kid bowling alley that we tried out. Uncle bucks bar and grill. $37 an hour per person was insane! But beautiful place.
Definitely recommend Dolphins Cove for a nice dinner on the water.

Its my hometown.
Its my hometown. Always something going on at the Arena or at the new Outdoor Sports complex and the Trumbull mall is a short drive up Main Street! PLUS, plenty of GREAT restaurants downtown and of course Seaside Park!

We didn’t care for the lack of restaurants available.
We didn’t care for the lack of restaurants available. We prefer to dine at large chain restaurants that has food options we are familiar with. Not little hole in the wall places that seemed kind of sketchy
The facilities were clean and staff very accommodating. I was given a room that had, what might have been a faint smoke smell to others in it. I don't smoke, so the smell was strong for me. I mentioned this to front desk and they changed my room immediately. My new room was clean, cool and had a great view of the garden across the street. Also, the walk to the Hartford Amphitheater and the railroad was super short and easy. I stayed there for the Kings of Leon concert. I will definitely return with the family.
This Property is one you would not want to enter from the outside it is filthy and it’s located in A very bad part of town. The streets are even cluttered with trash and there’s a lot of loitering going on in the area. The air smells horrible. I suggest that Booking.com take it off of their listing because it is that bad that we would not even enter.
The staff were friendly and attentive. When our first coffee maker was broken, they had a replacement for us in moments.
You can walk to the Port Jefferson ferry, which is why we were in Bridgeport, so that was great.
