The room had lots of place for luggage.
The bathtub had a non-slip mat - and it was clean.
The Breakfast room is beautiful and allowed us to do some deskwork in the lounge area.
The breakfast foods are good, and the person attending it was very hardworking and kind.

Very nice little house, with nice amenities except TV access was a bit painful. Huge backyard and fantastic to have a garage.

Simi Valley is so beautiful and such a lovely relaxing area I felt safe and loved the location it was very handy to a quite a few eateries and not too far for a Uber to take me to places.
I would love to come back to explore more of Simi Valley such a gorgeous place.

We lived in Simi for 40 years and returned for a party.
We lived in Simi for 40 years and returned for a party. It's still a quiet, clean place. Not really a destination unless you're visiting the Reagan Library which is, by the way, a GREAT museum. Modern, interesting, beautiful, historic and with very nice views. Probably less expensive to stay here than Chatsworth and/or Thousand Oaks / Westlake so it would be reasonable to stay here if you're visiting there.

I went with the purpose of seeing The Auschwitz Exhibit at the Ronald Reagan Library. Enjoyed my stay over night at the Best Western Motel, not far from the Library. Met a friend for dinner, after the long day at the Library at Phil's in Thousand Oaks. The restaurant was a bit noisy, but the food and wine were delicious. The scenery around the Library was breathtaking.

Love Simi valley. Hotel was not good.
Love Simi valley. Hotel was not good. To expensive for what you actually got. I'm disabled and still had to use room on 3rd floor almost all the way to the back of the hotel. I had a hard time walking all that distance. No other rooms available. Someone set off the fire alarm at around 3am. Dog urine in elevator. Tv way to small. Decore outdated and dull.

Grand Vista Hotel is excellent. Great price too.
Grand Vista Hotel is excellent. Great price too. Manager and staff was high-end and very helpful. I didn't do much besides IT stuff and ministry stuff, while lifting and sitting in the sun. The people in the city seem nice and people at Walmart seemed ok/nice. The view of the mountains in this area is very beautiful too. Very sunny too most of the time.

The Ronald Reagan Library visit was outstanding!
The Ronald Reagan Library visit was outstanding! His observations of government in general at that time in history are so pertinent today in particular his observation of creeping communism taking over the minds of America's youth. Every West Coaster should be required to spend a day at this library to get their head on straight.
The hotel is beautiful with an "hacienda" feel. We had a room with pool view which had double ceiling height and very big and spacious. It was clean and comfy. Staff were friendly and polite. The breakfast was definitely better than the average and really enjoyed it. Free parking. We also did laudry and was hazzle free.
Clean room, great wifi, strong enough wifi to actually get some work done, as well as stream movies after work, shower was hot and water pressure was fine, sheets and towels all appeared clean, great location in simi valley, felt safe, busy parking lot. This is not a bad place to stay. Would stay again for sure.
Great location for us to visit with friends in the Simi Valley area with easy access to the freeway, and it's close to the Ronald Reagan Library too. On the same property as the Grand Vista was The Arena, a bar/restaurant/music venue that was a unique addition to the hotel.
The personnel is very nice and trained. The hotel is clean, has many rooms and has a bar next to it. Rooms have a good size for travellers with bigger luggage. The carpet must be very clean as I‘m a heavy allergic but felt nothing.
Nice place. However, there was nothing on the Bokking.com website that said there is a $12 fee for parking. This is Simi Valley, not a big city like NYC or SF with very limited parking. This is just a quiet little rip off.
Basically I like the hotel and it's quiet outside.
And the air conditioning was having a burning smell in room 159 and they did come and check but it was the same.
So we were moved to another room after requesting.
This is my 3rd time at this same hotel. The first time half the power was out in the room... bathroom as well. Second time it was loud and hard to sleep. Last night rm 206 the A/C didn't work... just horrible
well maintained, clean large rooms, night light in bathroom as all hotels should have, we had a nice time in our short stay, also very close to Regan library which was why we came to that location
Location was prime for Simi Valley access - there are some hikes nearby, access to freeways, etc. While on a main road it still was quiet enough at night.
