Our room was clean and spacious. We enjoyed the older windows that opened all the way and offered a wonderful view of the courtyard below and allowed us to listen to the street performers. The grounds are impressive and gorgeous and the location is perfect. We put the car in Valet and leave it there all weekend, as everything we needed was within walking distance.

Upon walking towards entrance of property police was on property blocking the entrance and door was locked. Asked to open to check-in and Front-desk clerk woman "Asked "what homeless organization did I belong to?" I said "none, yet upon pulling up reservation she tried charging upon check full $100.00 incidental fee and demanded that $277 be paid site unseen of room. The condition of the place was marginalized, bed bug infested, smelled like cigarettes and homeless camps on property. We both agreed to cancel. The cashier was rude and seemed anxious for the cash. You need to remove this property from Booking...Not for a family. Later, my credit card was compromised with several hundred dollars stolen, so I called my bank to dispute the charges. Again take this motel/Inn down from your site. Police were there already in parking lot defusing an incident very frightening. Never stayed in the room.
I liked nothing.

This hotel is great. The staff and the owner were so accommodating. The gentlemen who run the valet parking were great and fast. The location of the hotel is great too; it's on the same side of the street and a block down from the Food Lab (an awesome food court) and the Game Lab (a giant arcade). I recommend use Lyft to get around the city but most places are in walking distance from the hotel. Downtown Riverside has a college town feel to it but it's still an urban city that you need to be cautious in. Overall, Downtown Riverside is a good time every time.

Though the hotel provided a bed to sleep on, there amenities were less than adequate. We discovered during our stay that the room had cockroaches on top being given a blow dryer that didn’t work. Overall, we were disappointed with our stay considering we paid nearly 200 dollars to sleep for 5 hours and wish to gain compensation.

Although the building and property is beautiful, the quality of the whole experience is mediocre at best. Restaurants are bland and very mediocre(ate at Mexican restaurant BLAND!!) and had breakfast and room service - also extremely bland food) zStaff lacked poise and professionalism. All the staff were very young and seemed uninterested and undertrained. Heard housekeeping cursing and complaining. Front desk did not explain Wi-Fi, they did not point out or explain layout of where things were located in the hotel, they did not take luggage to the room. Housekeeping did not clean our room one of the 3 days, despite being gone from 9:30am-9:30pm. No water given in the room. Overall it was an extremely underwhelming experience. If you are used to quality when traveling, this is not the place for you. I would say a 2 out off 5.

This was the most disgusting room I have ever stayed in.
This was the most disgusting room I have ever stayed in.
Upon arrival the little lobby smelled liked an old, filthy disgusting taco stand with Indian or Pakistan smell of curry.
The person behind the window had his ear pods in his ear and listening to music and did not even acknowledge me standing there for 30 seconds.
The room was so very filthy, torn sheets, filthy shower, toilet, old table and very filthy chair with urine spots on it, the metallic Kleenex box was rusty, dirty and no tissue in it, the bathroom door would close and would not open again and it had to be forced open by body slam,
the entrance door to the room had graffities on it, at night I heard next door neighbor's door being banged on and there was drug dealing between the neighbor and some stranger.
This place is HELL, and I was told the attendant behind register is the manager, when I asked him again are you sure you are the manger since I felt he was lying to me, then he said, okay, the manager is Victor and upon my request he provided me a business card with no names on it except the hotel's name and phone number.
They are lairs, filthy people and they will charge you $110.00 and give you a rat hole to sleep in. I need the entire amount of fees and taxes that you charged refunded with a letter of apology and a promise for you to upgrade this "SLUM HOTEL" to American Standard. I took 25 photos of the room #211 and will be happy to send them to you along with 1 video of the bathroom door.

I've only been to Riverside in late Spring and early Fall before when it is way too hot and miserable. This trip was in the cool early spring and the town is gorgeous! How did I not notice before? People are super friendly.
Incredibly beautiful, historic hotel with decent onsite restaurants, walking distance to shops and bars etc.
Friendly staff, clean room. Would book again without hesitation! Next time I would opt for a room overlooking the center courtyard and go on the mission tour which sadly, I didn’t have time for. Restaurants and drinks onsite were mostly pretty good and have heard raves about the steakhouse but didn’t go there. As we got a feel for the area, there are also lots of food establishments close by as well.
The room was disgusting. It’s not even clean. It has bugs gum on the floor. The bathroom has mold and dirt dust all over the place and smells cigarettes and weed and another weird smell, and I’m still waiting for my return money because I can’t stay there 30 min and I booked another hotel , stay away from this place they got ppl selling drugs pills, and weed in the parking lot I don’t know where are the police from them?
This was a great value for the money. The room was very clean, bed comfortable, granite counter tops, large sofa and coffee table along with a large desk, convenient location. I cannot remember the last time I stayed in a hotel/motel where they still provided small items such as a comb, wrapped soap, toothbrush plus in the shower and at the sink were wall mounted dispensers of soap and lotion that actually worked.
I thought the fee for bringing my pet was excessive, compared to what I have been charged at other hotels. Also, I had no idea they had left a window open in my room and I could hear trains all night long as if they were in my bedroom. I thought the hotel had no sound proofing until I went to open a curtain the next morning and discovered an open window by the sofa! Most distressing and exhausting.
First time staying in Riverside. Arlington Inn is located close to many restaurants so we had a very nice lunch. In the morning we had breakfast at the Riverside airport cafe. What a great place and was just around the corner from the Inn. The rooms were perfect for a one night stay, beds were very comfortable. There was even a small fridge.
Upon arrival, we found the SB drink left on the floor in the room, so maybe the maid forgot to discard it after cleaning the room.
We have enjoyed their great hot breakfast buffet!
Only we disliked their hotel coffee brand but we love their tea brand!
Good mix of Apartment and Hotel. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Good breakfast buffet for the price. Gym is amazing, everything in there (wall ball, trx …). Small pool included. And coffee bar 24/7 with good coffee and syrups.
Location near bars and places to eat. Had never ventured in downtown Riverside, good location for that. Pool available at an early time, 6am, that was really combina y for those who like to avoid a crowded pool, I do.
The room smelled like dog the blankets smelled like pee there was holes in the wall it was not clean it was the most nastiest hotel I have ever been in there was no towels no soap
I loved the location, is down town just a block away from a great restaurant and other hotels. You can park at the convention center for free on the street and it’s secure
