Though the hotel provided a bed to sleep on, there amenities were less than adequate. We discovered during our stay that the room had cockroaches on top being given a blow dryer that didn’t work. Overall, we were disappointed with our stay considering we paid nearly 200 dollars to sleep for 5 hours and wish to gain compensation.

Although the building and property is beautiful, the quality...

Although the building and property is beautiful, the quality of the whole experience is mediocre at best. Restaurants are bland and very mediocre(ate at Mexican restaurant BLAND!!) and had breakfast and room service - also extremely bland food) zStaff lacked poise and professionalism. All the staff were very young and seemed uninterested and undertrained. Heard housekeeping cursing and complaining. Front desk did not explain Wi-Fi, they did not point out or explain layout of where things were located in the hotel, they did not take luggage to the room. Housekeeping did not clean our room one of the 3 days, despite being gone from 9:30am-9:30pm. No water given in the room. Overall it was an extremely underwhelming experience. If you are used to quality when traveling, this is not the place for you. I would say a 2 out off 5.

This was the most disgusting room I have ever stayed in.

This was the most disgusting room I have ever stayed in. Upon arrival the little lobby smelled liked an old, filthy disgusting taco stand with Indian or Pakistan smell of curry. The person behind the window had his ear pods in his ear and listening to music and did not even acknowledge me standing there for 30 seconds. The room was so very filthy, torn sheets, filthy shower, toilet, old table and very filthy chair with urine spots on it, the metallic Kleenex box was rusty, dirty and no tissue in it, the bathroom door would close and would not open again and it had to be forced open by body slam, the entrance door to the room had graffities on it, at night I heard next door neighbor's door being banged on and there was drug dealing between the neighbor and some stranger. This place is HELL, and I was told the attendant behind register is the manager, when I asked him again are you sure you are the manger since I felt he was lying to me, then he said, okay, the manager is Victor and upon my request he provided me a business card with no names on it except the hotel's name and phone number. They are lairs, filthy people and they will charge you $110.00 and give you a rat hole to sleep in. I need the entire amount of fees and taxes that you charged refunded with a letter of apology and a promise for you to upgrade this "SLUM HOTEL" to American Standard. I took 25 photos of the room #211 and will be happy to send them to you along with 1 video of the bathroom door.

I've only been to Riverside in late Spring and early Fall before when it is way too hot and miserable. This trip was in the cool early spring and the town is gorgeous! How did I not notice before? People are super friendly.

If you book a room at mission inn hotel don't do it on line...

If you book a room at mission inn hotel don't do it on line cause you can't see what rooms don't have. Our room had a small bath tub and no frig or microwave. I've stayed in $79 a night motels with those accommodations why not in an expensive hotel like this one?. I know It's a historical hotel but be careful from the holes in the hallway floors. The carpet may cover them but they are big enough to cause a trip and fall from someone disabled..Pool drunks make noise till 11:45pm and a good hearty breakfast only costs you $201 after a not so firm bed and flat lumpy pillows.Maybe we're not rich enough to stay here for any occasion, $600 anywhere in the city you live in should have been more than enough. Being a care giver 24/7 I expected to be taken care of. Maybe if Kelly's spa was open on Mondays and Tuesdays I'd have had a better review spending a couple hundred dollars to be pampered from head to toe.. I deserve it for all I earned in my life of helping others...

I didn't go there. This booking was done in error by Booking.com. I still don't know if booking.com fixed it. I complained via email but I never got a response -- it seemed that booking.com said it was the responsibility of property owner -- who had all along assured me that there would be no problem from the hotel in making a full reimbursement. The problem is with booking.com.

What they don't tell you is that on the weekend They rent parking space for the people around that go to the clubs near by 😠 we had our baby sleeping and when we arrived at hotel the parking lot was extremely Full even in between the parking lanes . We had to park 2 blocks from the location and walk In the middle of the night. And they still charge a $30 dollar fee per packing.

First time staying in Riverside. Arlington Inn is located close to many restaurants so we had a very nice lunch. In the morning we had breakfast at the Riverside airport cafe. What a great place and was just around the corner from the Inn. The rooms were perfect for a one night stay, beds were very comfortable. There was even a small fridge.

You get what you pay for. If course at 95 a night, motel 6 is no longer cheap. They need to step up.their game since they feel justified to charge that kind of money now. 20 years ago, a hundred dollar a night hotel was somewhere like the marriot or the Hilton. Now you get the roadway in or motel 6. Times have certainly changed

Wandering around the sprawling hotel was worth the price of the room. Decked out for the Festival of Lights, the hotel's courtyards, convoluted passageways, spiral staircases, Escher-like Rotunda, lobby, and Presidential Lounge were particularly intriguing and beautiful.

Upon arrival, we found the SB drink left on the floor in the room, so maybe the maid forgot to discard it after cleaning the room. We have enjoyed their great hot breakfast buffet! Only we disliked their hotel coffee brand but we love their tea brand!
