The location was peaceful, and the view of the river was great! I liked the check in and out process via the Cedar Lodge, it was very easy.

The stairs and pathways were not shoveled, both Me and My Wife fell into snow banks and the code did not work! We never made it into the room , had to drive 59 miles to find a room at 3:00 am🥴

The place had Tesla fast charging stations.
The place had Tesla fast charging stations. The property was old but clean. The carpet could use a deep clean. The room had a balcony with a table and some chairs great for drinking with friends or just hang out and relax while looking out the river.
The room was really big and spacious with a ref, stove top, coffee maker and some cooking and serving utensils.
Actually the property was decent but with no cellular coverage (Tmobile), wifi should have been readily available. Here you have to pay through a 3rd party. Sad! So it’s not great for virtual meetings and stuff.

The location and staff were excellent!!
The location and staff were excellent!! The room was clean, the amenities were great as well, the only problem was our TV. Maintenance couldn’t fix it so they gave us the internet for the TV the first night to remedy the situation which was amazing but not the second night which put a damper on things with no Tv to relax the second night.

The hotel location was good and near to Yosemite.
The hotel location was good and near to Yosemite. The room was good. The Pizza restaurant was good.
We didn't like having to book room service (towels etc and coffee for room) on a daily basis. In our opinion is a throwback to Covid pandemic days, as a management policy to save money not support the customer.

Close to Yosemite park entrance, just a short drive.
Close to Yosemite park entrance, just a short drive. Mildly wild river behind the hotel is great. We ate mostly in Yosemite park (very nice dinner at Yosemite Valley Lodge Mountain Dining Room and a great lunch at Ahwahnee hotel bar).

Stunning location with great views.
Stunning location with great views. Times quoted for fitness room and swimming opening did not happen. Rooms spacious with good facilities but all looked rather shabby and dated. Rooms need a makeover. Balcony view was amazing.
Great location for Arch Rock entrance to Yosemite. You will be at the Village in 20min, at Glaciar Point in about 45min, and at Tuolumne Grove in 30minutes. That means the hotel is a great base to explore the whole park. The room was very spacious, with a jacuzzi tub, kitchenette, electric fireplace, and a great balcony with amazing views and the music of the River running through the rocks. Several pools and spa tubs, a pizzeria and a restaurant. The store is a great option to buy bread, deli cuts, snacks, etc. and take on your hikes.
The apartment was spacious and had a small kitchenette with a small refrigerator and 2 hotplates. The bed was very comfortable. You could use different pools and whirlpools until 10:00 in the evening. For a total of about $4, you could do your own laundry (you have to bring detergent!) and use a dryer. Both the SPA areas, as well as the laundry area and the front desk could be reached on foot. A parking lot was available a few feet from the apartment. Yosemite National Park could be reached in about 10 minutes by car.
Quiet! The other people staying at this hotel were quiet, respectful, and I suspect everyone was there to go in to Yosemite for daytime hikes. We were close to the highway in front of the hotel, but car traffic was minimal to none between 8pm-10am. Pillows were great. Plenty of hot water for showers. Bath towels were thick and high quality. Black out curtains kept light out and the air conditioner wasn’t too loud. Easy check in/out, convenient small store for buying snacks, hats souvenirs, etc.
Clean, basic, easy check-in at Cedar Lodge. Hot tub is fantastic. Festoon lights are a nice touch. One car space.
Located OUTSIDE Yosemite NP, it can be a quick 30 minute drive to the entry gate if you leave early each day (between 6am & 8am). One day we left at 10.15am and it took a full 3 hours in a crawling queue of traffic just to reach the park gate. This was late May, Memorial Day weekend.
Big fridge/freezer.
Very pleased with location (just 6 miles from Yosemite NP) and room. Frankly, we don't understand why some had given this hotel low marks. Our room was clean, had plenty of space, a small fridge, good beer on tap at the bar. We're from SoCal and are so glad we selected Cedar Lodge (on CA 140) rather than any hotel at the southern (CA 41) entrance. This saved hours of driving time! What's not to like?
We opted for the king room with balcony. The setting was gorgeous looking down to the Merced River and across to the wild forest. Room was average size with comfortable king bed. It was clean and well maintained. The hotel is expansive and fairly modern with a general store, good restaurant, and pizza parlor. The next stop along the hiway was the Arches Entrance to Yosemite, about 10 minute drive.
This property is in a great location for Yosemite National Park. The room was clean and comfortable. Food in the bar was absolutely fine. There is a little shop off the reception where you can get simple groceries. Or there is another store about 4 miles up the road towards the park. You can get fuel there too.
The room was spacious with a nice bathroom and comfortable beds. Our daughter enjoyed the bear statues around the property. The location was very convenient on the road to Yosemite National Park - very easy and get up and go in the morning.
This is the nearest hotel to the Yosemite park entrance, so that's a big plus.
Also, the balcony is right above the Merced river, great view of the river, and very nice to hear the sound of water from the room.
The rooms are very large.
no wifi unfortunately but it was available to purchase, it didn't bother us as much as we where mostly at Yosemite or across from the Hotel is the river and our evenings there we spent there getting in the river or the pool.
