The food selection was good but the effort to make it, especially Monday morning breakfast buffet was a major fail. There weren’t many guests in the dining room and the waitress couldn’t keep our coffee cups full. The buffet was disgusting. It IS POSSIBLE to over style items that are fine just the way they are. The egg casserole was scarey bad. Scones were appetizer size. If I had to complain solidly about anything… the dining room is it. Maybe that’s because weddings get all the attention.

Eureka Springs is a very pleasant place with lots of things to do for all ages. Many shops and lots of history. We had some really awesome food from every where we ate. We rode the hills and valleys, just beautiful.

Very cool and progressive community, at least in the Dow downtown areas. My wife and I have been to this town many times, and it always feels a bit like a home away from home. This is an amazing g place to “get away.” Great restaurants, lots of interesting history and places, and often even more interesting people. We have never had a bad time in Eureka Springs! The Voodoo Lounge was a very cool spot to hang out at post dinner time.

Eureka Springs is timeless and a beautiful. There is never enough time to experience it all and the joys and food and scenery. I’m from the NWA area and go back every year with my family and to visit friends. It’s timeless.

We went during February which is off-season. I didn't feel like there was much to do but walk around but it may be better when everything is open. Would go back to see the Passion Play but would only stay a couple of days. The Rowdy Beaver had great Prim Rib and excellent service.

My perspective comes from having lived in New Orleans,...
My perspective comes from having lived in New Orleans, countless visits to the Tennessee Smoky Mountains and family in Bay Saint Louis, Mississippi.
Some of the quirkiness at Eureka Springs includes:
A mix of Gatlinburg, Tennessee (wonderful sights, shops), Bay St. Louis, Mississippi (laid back), a splash of the New Orleans French Quarter(history, character, good food, joie de vivre) with a generous shake of seediness (seediness in the 'best sense', authentic, real, not overly touristy).
It is a pleasant surprise to find such a unique town where I did not expect to.

Too much traffic. Rough uneven sidewalks.
Too much traffic. Rough uneven sidewalks. Lots of unique stores. Not enough options for cheap fast food. Not enough parking. Not very handicap friendly. Best thing to do is to park at the top of the hill at the Trolley stop or leave the car at the hotel. The Trolley runs everywhere. Lots of stops at every end of town and all throughout town. La familia is an excellent place to eat. Sauced Bbq. Myrtle Maes. There is zip lining. Lots to do. Lots to see. An Art Colony. Lots of nightlife.
We loved the Great Room. We played billiards, watched the large screen TV and enjoyed the view out the large windows of the surrounding hills. It was a quiet setting, away from the hub bub of the downtown Eureka Springs area but close enough to make a quick trip to all the interests in the area. The trolley stop was right outside the hotel. We enjoyed walking around the property in the woods. The two queen beds were of different softness/hardness so we could choose what worked best for us. The manager was very friendly and accommodating.
The room is huge and nicely appointed. Staff was great in every respect. The restaurant is somewhat pricey, but the food and service are great - you get what you pay for. The value of having reserved parking in downtown Eureka Springs can't be overstated. It's a really old hotel so you can't expect quiet. The plumbing makes noise, the floors make noise, the walls make noise; that's just how they are. It's part of the experience so I'm not putting it under "didn't like".
Great location by shopping and restaurants and still convenient to go see other sites around town. The restaurant in the hotel had great food also. The shuttle from the parking lot was great to not have to park on the street and it was still close enough to walk to if you wanted. The staff was super friendly and helpful. I will definitely stay here again when we visit Eureka Springs.
Everything in the Basin park was perfect and exceeded our expectations. This was our first visit to Arkansas state and the hospitality received was amazing. The staff were so friendly helpful and accommodating. The activities at the hotel were too good.
Even though parking was not onsite, the shuttle facility was so convenient and pickup/drop service are provided until late night.
The room was very clean and no smells. They provide a shampoo and some soaps, coffee and creamer in the room. The bed was pretty new, but very soft and I prefer firm. The convenient location is exceptional, but the traffic noise is pretty loud until well after dark. Other rooms may be romantic, but the one I stayed in was a simple, clean motel room.
It is always exceptionally clean there. That is the only place I stay in Eureka Springs. While it is a couple of miles from downtown, there is a shortcut to get downtown in just a moment. It is convenient, the people there are phenomenal and it is Always clean. I love staying there. My bed was extremely comfortable.
This was the first Bed and Breakfast stay. The breakfast exceeded our expectations. John was extremely helpful with locations, surroundings & restaurants. He even offered to take us to downtown & pick us up! We will be staying there again when & if we go back to Eureka Springs and recommend the place to anyone.
The room was huge, including a stocked mini bar and large bath. Check-in and out was easy. We elected for spa services which I highly recommend, especially the sauna. The location is good - easy to reach the Main Street and other restaurants as well as walk to the haunted Crescent Hotel.
Reasonably priced and very dog friendly, centrally located, quiet, darkness from the trees, open firepit, all the staff was very friendly, the owner Alex was awesome and we are planning on staying here again real soon! Highly recommend to anyone wanting to stay in Eureka Springs!
We love the Wanderoo Lodge and we’re happy to return. Swam in the hybrid saltwater freshwater pool and live music at the Gravel Bar was awesome! The staff is always friendly, we highly recommend staying there in Eureka Springs!
We have stayed here a flock of times and it still is our "go to" place in Eureka Springs. It is very quiet, clean and comfy. The staff are like friends.
