Montgomery is a nice medium size town.
Montgomery is a nice medium size town. It has a lot of historic sights, a gambling casino with two restaurants and a hotel inside. There are many parks and Montgomery has a zoo. Eastchase mall is nice as it has some of the major shopping stores and there are plenty of restaurants in East have area. They have Bone Fish grill, Firebirds, Moes Southwest grill to name a few restaurants. Montgomery is the capital of Alabama therefore there are a lot of historical sights. Montgomery also has a zoo. It is a nice place to visit. My favorite area is Eastchase and the shopping mall and restaurants. I liked Firebird’s restaurant and Smoothie King. Driving around Montgomery is easy.

We saw the Legacy Museum.
We saw the Legacy Museum. It was a once in a lifetime experience. We got to meet Bryan Stevenson--The visionary behind the museum and the figure the movie "Just Mercy" chronicled. He was personable and made himself available for a one-hour Q & A session. His work is phenomenal and a must-experience for all those interested in tracing the roots of slavery as well as the experiences of the disenfranchised in the criminal justice system!!! We were not able to visit the Rosa Parks museum and the other sites. We will return in September to see the rest of Alabama!!!

Montgomery Alabama Is a Beautiful place but I would never recommend the Sunrise Extended Stay The location was great but the room they reserved was ridiculous just wasn't suitable at all just look like a place for prostitution, the person didn't show customer service at all didn't try to fix the situation, the place needs to be completely renovated it was like they just took my money and that was it, they had the lobby all locked up you couldn't enter the lobby area to see the facility it really made me feel like every time i reserve a room, I need to see the room first before I pay.

Montgomery is a true hidden gem of a city with a plethora of activities to do in the city. From visiting the EJI Slavery Museum, Downtown Montgomery then over to the Montgomery Zoo, you will not be disappointed.
I did not stay . The room smelled . The staff said the tub was under a construction. It looked to be duct taped in. I was willing to deal until while freshening up I noticed that I was getting bit by something in the carpet and the door has an ill fitted bar lock on the inside only . No deadbolt !!!!! No barrel door lock!!!! This is in downtown Montgomery. I went and stayed at the Hampton . It may be cheap but don’t waste the money . Stay somewhere better.
Stopped at the Drury Inn & Suites Montgomery on our way down to the beach. A Wonderful and Beautiful Hotel with luxurious facilities, Free Booze a Great Pool and Hot Tub, and Comfortable Beds! :-)
But the Staff Here are Especially Awesome!! I think they were short-handed during our stay, but the Manager and Check-In staff went Above and Beyond to fill in everywhere, and they All did a Fantastic Job!! Thanks So Much!! We love you guys!! THANK YOU!! :-)
Everything was really nice, staff were nice and let us check in slightly early. Court yard in center of hotel was a nice little hang out spot, plenty of options to eat around the hotel, great price for what you get honestly, we're in Montgomery often for softball tournaments so we will definitely stay again. Huge room with full kitchen
Easy access with the code to the door, and driveway holds two cars. Loved the neighborhood -- the house is advertised as being in the Garden District, but it's probably more accurate to say it's on or near the border between the Garden District & Cloverdale. Great cafe & restaurant and shop around the corner. Convenient to downtown.
Daniel was an amazing host & took care of any issues that occurred. The place was very clean & the beds were super comfortable. Loved the back patio space. The property was located in a quiet, beautiful, and safe neighborhood. I would recommend it to others planning to visit Montgomery Alabama.
The breakfast was AMAZING! More than what expected. The breakfast isle was hard to find. but I liked everything about this hotel. I'd rate it 5-star! I'd rate it 10 if I could. If I'd come back to Montgomery to stay at a hotel, it would be Staybridge!
I stayed at that property last year and was very impressed. Fantastic accommodations and staff very friendly. Breakfast is better than most restaurants in the area. Easy accessibility to the Hotel right off I-65 and close to downtown and Airport.
Very clean, It was our nephew's wedding weekend, so it was very close to their wedding venue, the 1616 House, and close access to downtown where we attended a graduation as well. Tonja, was so polite and helpful to us during our stay.
The hotel was closed and condemned. I’ve been trying to call for a reimbursement. We had to drive straight through and that was a 12-hour drive from NC to Florida. If someone could contact me, I would greatly appreciate it.
The hotel is very decent for the price, not far from the best Korean restaurants in the southern U.S., like So Gong Dong Tofu & BBQ, it's clean and quite comfortable, the bed is good.
