Amazing location and nice calm environment, no busy roads or noisy restaurants made this place perfect for good holiday. Decent prices and nice food in local places. Friendly people who helped us to settle well for the time we spent on holiday. Try to avoid old road google map directed us, aprox 20-30 km before bridge to cross the island when coming from mainland.

Historical city is really nice, with a good view to the sea, the city has multiple nice beaches and also other beaches are reachable by car in 10-15 mins. Several great restaurans (for example the Fish House at the beach) are available.

Lovely old town on top of a hill, romantic Mediterranean...
Lovely old town on top of a hill, romantic Mediterranean streets, picturesque view on the sea. Blue flag city beach with pebbles, small but equipped with toilet and shower. Take coins for the parking meter as it does not accept notes or card (as of summer of 2021). Also recommended is the beach of the camping, entrance fee is 75 HRK/person. Nice, clean pebble beach, brand new facilities, swimming pool, animal farm, a nothing special restaurant and an overpriced grocery shop inside. Was not overcrowded even on a weekend mid July. This beach was also rewarded with a Blue flag in 2021. The Omisalj shore is opposite a strip of land where some oil tanks of the Rijeka oil refinery can be seen but it is not as depressing or dramatic as it sounds.

Marija is super friendly and helpful! The place is amazing and new, spotless clean and spacious. It is two minute walk distance to the centre but quite a walk to the beach, for us it was not a problem at all. This place will be a good choice for 2-4 people.

Closest town to the Rijeka international airport: walking distance. It's small and beautiful, and its characteristic layout and architecture is very impressive, specially if you're just arriving from a different land.

I highly recommend this apartment. Nice owners who live in the building. Spotless clean, well equipped, easy parking, nice view from balcony. Comfortable for 2 adults or 2 adults + 2 children. Closest place to splash in the sea is 5 minutes on foot. For bigger grocery shopping using your car is recommended, supermarket is 10 min. drive away. Small shop/kiosk is on the next corner. Lovely old town in Omisalj, 1 hour walking or 10 min. by car. You can have nice strolls along the beach. We had a great time.

Comfortable stay for two families for one night. The apartment was clean and bright. There was nothing missing in the kitchen, everything was provided, including a coffee machine with capsules. The Wi-Fi signal was good, but it could only be received in the corridor near the front door - the hostess had already warned us about this. We also enjoyed a walk through the old town of Omišalj and a swim in the Adriatic Sea.

We enjoyed a lot our stay at Villa Masha. We were 2 adults and 2 young children. The hosts Igor and Masha are very friendly and helpful. The house is nice; it has all you might need to be comfortable. It has onsite parking and a terrace. The house is well located to visit Krk. There is a German Shepherd in the property very obedient.

Absolutely nice, kind and friendly hosts from the first moment onwards, only I could say positive words about everything. The apartment is well equipped, modern and clean, we got what we expected, we are fully satisfied. Next time, if we return to Krk Island, surely will come back to this place. The hotel is as described on pictures - old, outdated, and lacking most of the facilities you would find in more contemporary hotels. Nevertheless it is value for money, since it is clean and very close to the beach. The room and bathroom are spacious, and the terrace is of a nice size.

Dorian and his mother are super hosts! Place is quite spacious, clean, air conditioned and comfy. 10 - 15 min by walk to the beach with two little kids is totally doable. Omisalj is very calm and interesting place for family trips.
