Great area with many sandy beaches nearby.
Great area with many sandy beaches nearby. Quiet area away from the crowds but close enough to restaurants and stores. We self catered for most of our stay but also had great traditional food at local restaurants. Easy to get around on foot but we would recommend a car rental to see the island.NeilCanada - 10Scored 10

At budget price, one cannot ask for more: kind hosts, nice...
At budget price, one cannot ask for more: kind hosts, nice pool, good air conditioning, fresh comfortable cotton bed sheets. Comfy beds. Excellent Lofos Restaurant nearby (1.5km, try their mixed souvlaki and stifado). Shadowy parking lot. If you want to get to the best places is Zakyntos (I mean Porto Roxa, Xigia, Agios Nikolaos, Zakyntos, do not go to Laganas) you need a car and a 20-40 min drive, but driving is safe and easy (compared to Italy), and there is no traffic in early July.
