Location is great, we slept in the bungalow with A/C and the staff was very nice and friendly! I wish the showers had better curtains (both are half torn) but other than that, it was a fun and simple stay!

הצימר של יהושע offers accommodations in Ein Gedi, 1.1 miles from Ein Gedi Beach. This property offers access to a balcony, free private parking, and free Wifi.
Wow, shocked at how bad this hotel is. I don’t think you can really call it a hotel. Tiny rooms, zero view, very run down. Hotel restaurant has some of the worst food we have ever had and is super expaive. The pool is a kibitz pool shared with residents.

Ein Gedi Beach is closed. But you can reach Kalya Beach by bus or car in half an hour. Or you go down south, there are plenty of beaches there.

There were a lot of houseflies everywhere! ;-( The place has potential BUT it is really not clean... I don't recommend it, it was torture for us to stay there. What more my friend hanged a lightly wet dress in front of our tent and it was stolen.

A gorgeous oasis in the middle of the dessert.
A gorgeous oasis in the middle of the dessert. Birds, ibixes, hyraxes. The David waterfalls is beyond gorgeous.
The hikes are great and moderately difficult.
bring LOTS of water and go first thing in the morning before the throngs of school kids come.

If you want to have a silent night, don't stay here. It's a very nice camping, with a lot of fun, but we had to get up early at 4.30am (to climb the massada), so the music which was still playing loudly till 11pm (or later) was just not a good option. But if you like fun in the evening, it's very excellent place. Thus I'll recommend it strongly in that case. The (public) bathroom is very clean.

We stayed in a superior room with beautiful view over the Ein Gedi nature reserve.
Breakfast and Dinner in the Restaurant were excellent with a huge selection of dishes.
Great service at the spa with relaxing salt and fresh watr pols
Exceptional - in the Botanical Garden in the Kibbuz, lovely apartment, lovely owner who even washed our clothes when I asked if I could use his washing machine. The whole Kibbuz and the "Zimmer" are a haven, an oasis. We decided immediately we will come and stay again if we will head to the Dead Sea next time when we fly to Israel. It was one of the highlights of our trip to stay here (and memories of my time as a volunteer in a Northern Kibbuz at the lake of Galilee came back at once ;-)).
The view was fantastic. You are right in the National Park and we did not need transport on Saturday which is great in Israel. Had wonderful opportunity to hike in the national park. The ruins of the old synagogue are beautiful and the archeological site is beautifully presented. Everything in the campsite worked beautifully and was well maintained. Authentic Israeli holiday with many Israeli families. Caravan very comfortable and clean. Everyone very helpful.
Somehow this place magically combines the raw and rough aspects of the desert with the comfort of a boutique hotel. Everything appears to be constructed from pallets and rocks and fabrics. The paths are just desert rocks and sand. The sparse planting is beautiful and teeming with thousands of butterflies. We took a bath in a tin stock tank under the stars. The bar restaurant is casual and welcoming. The menu brief and simple but tasty
Good spacious room with kitchen, large veranda from which we could see the Dead Sea and bedroom area. Excellent hotel restaurant with buffet dinner as well as access to hotel large swimming pool area. Lovely botanical gardens in the kibbutz. Ein Gedi only a few minutes drive from kibbutz. Parking available in kibbutz grounds.
Breakfeast was kosher with wide choice of foods. Good service.
Clean room and very comfortable beds. The accommodation units are located within the wonderful botanical garden. Fantastic views on the Dead Sea and surrounding mountains. Very good location to spent time in a quiet place.
Comfortable parking lots.
dreamy spot, amazing views, vans with all the amenities, showers and toilets clean enough, very chill common area (pool table, table tennis etc.), the vans even have bbq grills on the terraces, you cant buy coal or wood at the camp lodge though, have to get it at the minimarket in the Ein Gedi Kibbutz.
Beautiful studio with very nice terras, overlooking the mountains and the Dead Sea. Clean bathroom with excellent Ahava shower gel and shampoo. The host is very helpful and prepared a little fruitsalad as welcome. Easy parking, a mini market nearby… perfect place to discover zin Gedi, Masada etc
The apartment is in the residential section of the kibbutz, a quiet neighbourhood. The apartment was sparking clean and furnishings were in excellent condition. Everything needed for self service was provided in good condition. The host was friendly and very helpful.
It was wonderful staying in a kibbutz environment…felt extraordinarily safe, had use of a huge swimming pool, a few restaurant options and easy access to Ein Gedi, Massada and The Dead Sea
great location

access to kibbutz dinner and hotel pool were much welcome and added a lot of charme and value
Spa was clean and nice with all the facilities needed. Great massage, beautiful view outside by the outdoor pool and calming music. Extremely relaxing atmosphere.
Wonderful host, wonderful apartment (looks even better than on photos), great atmosphere. Even had spares for everything if you didn't bring it with you
