I arrived at 530pm and got picked up at 9am the next morning...
I arrived at 530pm and got picked up at 9am the next morning for a safari trip. It was going dark so didn't see much - a park and the cathedral. There's a lot of shops and service being the main town for the region but nothing to see as a tourist. Not much open in the evening in terms of restaurants. Went to Can-West burger place full of local people and good. For breakfast there were more options. If I could have got an early flight the following morning I would have skipped Yopal altogether. The safari accommodation wias at Casa Cumbres about 20 mins out of the city with amazing views. There seemed to be a few places around that area which would be preferable to town (but not walkable)

Great small city.
Great small city. Has everything you need without the mess of a big city. People are very nice and helpful. Weather is warm/hot, but almost all places have good air conditioning. I felt secure walking around the hotel and mall. Will go back for sure.

The pool is nicely situated. breakfast was better than expected. clean rooms, large bed. The hotel was right around the corner from lots of restaurants and the shopping district. So; all in all exceeded our expectations and we got way more luxury and friendliness than we expected. would definitely recommend.

Bed extremely comfortable, good TV, nice little balcony. The pool on site isn't huge but is nice for a refreshing swim. Included breakfast was great, and staff generally very nice. Restaurant has decent food and while on the pricier end is not outrageous for a hotel restaurant.
