A visit to Liverpool is a must for every Beatle fan! And, I highly recommend taking the Magicall Mystery Beatles bus tour! So much history and site seeing of the homes of John, Paul, George and Ringo and sites like Penny Lane, Strawberry Field and many others. Our guide and driver were outstanding! Beautiful, vibrant and lively city with so many lovely sites. Filled with the Mersey beat music and the Beatles footprint. I loved every aspect of Liverpool and will definitely come back! The Mersey tour (by boat), the Magical Mystery Tour and the Cavern Club are a must! Near the harbor there are many bars and restaurants for a nice bite. We went for the local food and enjoyed it. The city center has a great shopping area. All the interesting sightseeing points in the City center is within walking distance so it is easy to get around and very friendly people as well.

So much to see and do (and eat) in very compact centre - go to Albert Dock for all kinds of superb restaurants, local themed souvenirs both classy or tacky, Heavy use of Beatles themes, but you should do one Beatles tour, the guides are super fun; |night at Cavern CLub or theatre, big Arena nearly Wembley size but easier to navigate. 30min boat round the docks or a longer ferry/cruise; do lots, or sit on waterfront chilling out; great buildings, some really surprising museums, themed local history, customs & excise/smuggling, mystery tunnels; Western Approaches WW2 bunker, great modern shopping centre; 2 large beautiful parks, Tate Northern art exhibits - it is such a super place to find anything. Love the British Music Experience and Anfield Stadium tour. Been to Albert Dock before, the view was nice on a sunny day and the retail shops, cafes and restaurants are okay. But it was a shame that the Museum of Liverpool was only open on the ground floor and the others (The Maritime Museum & Tate Liverpool) were closed. Transportation was easy to navigate as well.

The location of this hotel is Amazing...right next to Albert Dock, the Arena, Hop On, Hop Off stop etc., shopping...we loved that we could walk everywhere, lots of restaurants nearby....location couldn't be any better.
