Breakfast was excellent, atmosphere nice. Good gym. It was great to have a self service kitchen in use, to have an own snack. Location of the hotel was in the middle of the city, close to walking street, restaurants and shops if you need anything. Interesting historical Falu Gruva close to the hotel.

Why stay in town in a boring hotel when you can get the county side luxury living just 10m from Falun center.
When we arrived 2 deers were running down the field.
It is like staying with family but still private.
Will be back in summer time.
Thank you!

A really lovely city and very welcoming to visitors.
A really lovely city and very welcoming to visitors. Everywhere we went the people we polite and helpful. I can't recall a bad experience from our trip. The mine is a must-do, in particular the little café near the edge of the pit is a gem. There is a co-op supermarket opposite the mine that is a great place to shop (yes, I'm actually excited about a supermarket it was that nice!) and did the lake near the city centre is surrounded my a lovely park and path to walk along. Can't wait to visit again!

If you are interested in history this is the place!
If you are interested in history this is the place! The Falun mine has been so vital to Sweden’s history. Good walking country too. And if you are into ski jumping in winter you are far far braver than me!
The host is absolutely wonderful; so hospitable, kind and anticipating every need.
The beds were comfortable with lovely linnen, which sleeps great. The rooms spacious, the breakfast fresh & varied and location convenient. What a pity we could only stay for one night! Ps - the pictures on booking do not do justice to the lovely house built in 1750 and decorated so tastefully!

It was a decent hotel for the price, but it was not a positive surprise on the quality. The staff was very friendly and the parking was easy and safe. The bed was comfy and they gave us a room which wasnt connected to anyone else room, which was perfect with a 10 month old who wakes in the evenings.

Well located between Falun and Borlänge. Sweet traditional country house, interior full of light, beautiful furniture. Copious breakfast, the hosts were extremely nice and helpful, adapted well to any of our demands and wishes.
More a 3 star hotel than a 4 star. Breakfast buffet was crowded even though reservations were Made. Room was ok but a bit warm. Great location for a morning run or If you are staying w pets close to Lugnet sports Stadium.
I enjoyed my stay at hotel Falun. Perfect location, nice, clean and quiet room. Good breakfast. It is the staff that makes the difference! Very kind, helpful and with positive energy.
The breakfast and dinner were great. I loved the way the restaurant area was decorated! The location of the hotel is really good too. The view we had from our room was quite nice.
Very nice and clean cabin. Well equipped (even a dish washer). Terrace with grill. Great location outside the city, very nice lake. Sauna (extra cost).
