It’s a quirky, large colonial building with plenty of charm and beautiful garden/swimming pool. The location is very convenient in town too.
The staff is what makes this place special and the menu is exceptional. Nothing was too hard for the staff to support with and ensure you are taken care of.

Loved the location and view from my room. The staff were very helpful. They went out of their way to assist me. Loved the fire pit at night. It was a nice opportunity to chat with other guests.

Breakfast met our expectations at 3-star rate. We were mostly rate because of the early closure at 10:00 hours on a holiday or Sunday!
The room was wonderful: clean, comfortable and spacious. the bathroom was well maintained.
Dinner went well.
Lunch was the downside of things as my wife got acute poisoning and suffered severe diarrhea. I almost had to drive her to hospital. Whatever it was, it was picked up in the hotel because we never ventured to eat out at all.

The staff was amazing. Darius was an amazing host. He arranged everything for our trip to Chobe national park in Bostwana and our day trip to Zimbabwe as well as our visit to Mukuni Village. All staff was so helpful since beginning of our stay. We felt like we were among family. The location was also so nice, we were close to town and at the same time we were in the middle of the nature.

My friends and i enjoyed our stay . The place is beautiful though the on the first day of check in i was really depressed and had to seek counseling from a friend whose is a qualified because we were not informed that the restrooms were communal and booking.com hasn't available that information on their booking platform ,we actually thought it was a self-contained kind of tented accommodation .What we expected didn't match with what we found guess it was a bit of shock because my mind wasn't prepared. But anyway we adjusted on the second day and it was quite an adventure to sleep in a tent for the first time and actually enjoyed our stay and we are looking forward to coming back soon.

Livingstone town is a bit raw, but not unsafe. The classic components - Victoria Falls (you really do not need a guide just call a local taxi - avoid a guy called Bison! The park with Rhino tour, sunset tour - we used the African Queen/Princess and it was excellent. More than adequate snacks and unlimited drinks. The crew were exceptional. We ate at our hotel - the Victoria Falls Waterfront as it was so good and great value. Didn’t need to consider anywhere else. Amazing pizzas.

Friendly and safe town. Easy to get around.
Friendly and safe town. Easy to get around. Avoid being ripped off by taxi drivers. The falls are a sight to behold, it was majestic. Zambesi cruise is a to do activity, have dinner in one of the restaurants afterwards. Instead of buying at the town market, take a trip to Mukuni village for affordable souvenirs to take home.

Lovely quaint little town, friendly people and clean. Mosquitoes weren't too much of an issue. We walked the whole length of the town in one day, enjoying the sights and sounds. Very USD focused though, so plan accordingly.

We booked a tour to Livingstone Island and Devil's Pool through LIFE ON THE EDGE. It was an awesome experience. Highlight of our trip. We paid $120 USD per person. Other tours charge more on viator and get your guide, but this is the only company that runs these tours so do not overpay by going through a middle man. Book directly. We felt safe the entire time. Well worth the money!

Getting around Livingstone was convenient as one can walk...
Getting around Livingstone was convenient as one can walk around the town or easily catch a taxi at an affordable price. There are many different cuisine options, be sure to try the local foods which were quite tasty. The Zambezi river cruise was my personal favorite activity.
The property is beautiful and spacious with great facilities. We went for a weekend for my 43rd birthday and we had a fabulous time. The staff were very attentive, the evening entertainment (a local singer) was exceptional and a lot of fun. It is so close to the Falls we took a few trips over the weekend. Finally the wild animals roaming around (giraffe, zebras, impala and the baboons at the Falls) were mind blowing. Also the small shop on the hotel property was reasonably priced with a very attentive woman running it.
A real adventure! The Lodge is situated far away from the city, right at the shore of the Sambesi River. Extremely quiet and peaceful at night with a million stars above. But be careful: The hippos come out of the river at night and you better stay inside of your chalet. We were instructed that this would happen and at night they accompanied us from dinner to our chalets. Super friendly staff organized a tour to the Victoria falls and through the city of Livingstone.
This place is amazingly beautiful. I would say its a little but cozy paradise away from home, a must visit for anyone looking to have a good stay in Livingstone. Also this place is conveniently located within good driving distance of things that matter in Livingstone e.g the Victoria Falls, Mosi-o-tunya national park, shopping mall etcetera. Staff is exceptionally welcoming and friendly; rooms are clean and have a brand new feel to them.
Great location right on the river, one of the few hotels and best price range for that feature. Wonderful views of a beautiful property set on the river with the pool, outside bar and outside dining. Also nice views from our balcony of the river although somewhat blocked by the trees.
Everyone on the staff was top-notch and always cheerful and friendly and very eager to assist and provide service.
Everything from the staff, accommodation, transportation, proximity to airport, food were phenominal. Adrian personally drove me around town and beyond and his knowledge of the tourist attractions was beyond this world. His honesty and caring attitude came in handy for me since i have never been to Zambia leave alone the City of Livingstone. Keep up the good work young lad
Nice garden, pool and TV/bar lounge area. Grocery and bank across the street. Cafe Zambezi is a short walk on the same side of the hostel. The staff were friendly. The tours were booked easily at the office. Massage available on the property. Luckily, 6 am bell ringing from the church nearby woke me up in time for my tours!
We enjoyed our stay at Okavango Lodge. The placed offered everything we needed. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. They were also very adequate to take action if something needed to happen, which is a big bonus in Zambia :). We also really enjoyed our breakfast every morning together with Frodo the cat.
The breakfast was superb, location was easy to reach the hotel, the staff is so loving respectful and easy to communicate their hospitality is excellent, Dwayne, Allan, Tasila and mwecha i love and miss them already they made us feel at home keep up the good work and the food was nice.
The staff was very friendly and helpful, giving advice during my stay for all my questions and even coordinating tours. Breakfast was great and personally prepared for me. I enjoyed my time at Okavango Lodge and highly recommend it. The location is close to the center of Livingstone.
Everything was good. The rooms are well prepared, the breakfest has a lot of options and the crew members were very kind. It is well located for activities and you have many options of activities leaving directly from the Hotel. Nice view from the restaurant as well. We loved it.
Nice rooms with everything you would expect. The infinity pool is spectacular and so are the views. However. the true asset is the staff they even helped me in getting a train ticket which is way beyond my expectations. All in an excellent choice in Livingstone.
What a little gem! An authentic Zambian experience with the most wonderful staff who went out of their way to make us feel at home. Lovely decor, a comfortable feel and wonderful pool area. So much better than a chain resort.
It's a beautiful hotel, with a comfortable pool area and nice restaurant. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are really spacious and the bed could not have been more comfortable!
Overall, this was a lovely hotel and I would stay there again. The location on the river was beautiful, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the food in the restaurants was excellent.
I loved the friendliness and customer service of the staff, always very helpfull and attentive.
The value was amazing great quality and very cheap. Above and beyond.
