Breakfasts were wonderful! Proper Irish: 2 or 3 strips of bacon, sausage, perfect eggs, cereal, with several kinds of home made bread, and several kinds of home made jams to enjoy, AND at your convenience -- simply call 20m before.
The location is perfect, 30 min to Kilkenny, and 30 minutes to Waterford. Even Midleton @90min is somewhat convenient as it's just an hour past Waterford which begs for proper breakfast here, then lunch in Midleton, and dinner in Waterford -- eat at Jack Meades, and take the ferry across and continue to Wexford)!
See the Cairn, climb Brandon Hill and take in the distant views of most of mid-south Ireland!

New Ross is a beautifully quaint town that sits on the River Barrow. Some of the streets can be steep at times but it is well worth a stroll with dozens of various small shops on the east bank that one doesn't see anymore in Ireland. Interesting heritage markers also exist throughout, it is obvious that the town makes a rewarding effort. We visit Family in New Ross. I am not sure it’s a town that you would want to vacation in although it’s not a bad base to get around to other places if you’re driving. The rooms were very nice but had an issue with staying cool. Normally you wouldn't need A/C but went during a heatwave and couldn't get comfortable. The windows barely open and they don't have any fans to provide any relief. Wasn't much for breakfast, no hot food. Dinner was very good. Nice town and easy to get around .People in town friendly and very helpful.Nice relaxed atmosphere in the town.The shops are nice and well laid out with good stock for a town its size.Business People are making a good effort to attract customers. We all need each other now and hopefully locals as we as visitors will spend a bit extra this year in the local economy and stay off the online shopping for a while.Loyalty is hugely important now.New Ross has the goods and just needs the necessary support all round

Comfortable and cozy bedroom and the breakfast was excellent which would set you up for the day: full Irish, pancakes, toast, brown bread, fruit salad, yoghurt, cereals and beautifully presented. Lots to do and see in New Ross. Would recommend the Kennedy homestead, Hook lighthouse and New Ross greenway. Brigid even provided map of New Ross. Thank you for a lovely stay 5 *****FionaIreland

As our first introduction to any B&B, she set the bar incredibly high.
