Breakfast was delicious. Tom and Sam are so friendly and even in the middle of his busy morning, Tom found time to give us suggestions for places to stop on the Sally Gap drive to Dublin. Would definitely come back again.

Quiet spot with wonderful hosts and breakfast! We were blessed to play with their puppies and the horses, and everyone was very welcoming and friendly.

We got the wrong room, single instead of a twin accommodation but they sort it out for the first night and then the next day they gave us a twin room for the rest of the stay. Great and very friendly staff. The administration does a great job in training them and been visible to all. The only draw back was that we did not get our room clean during our stay, the garbage was full, we only got towels changed.

This is a perfect location for walkers & nature lovers.
This is a perfect location for walkers & nature lovers. The views are spectacular & if you're lucky with the weather, which we were, though it was February, there are some lovely walks in the area, both short & long-distance. Very popular with tour groups & families, especially at weekends ... lots of buggies, bicycles & dogs ... something for everyone! Lovely outdoor seating areas for coffee & snacks & tasty food in restaurant. Don't forget your camera for some memorable & scenic shots during your walks. Wear comfortable footwear to really enjoy & take advantage of the lovely walks, especially around the lake , up towards the waterfall ... so much to see & enjoy ... for adults, kids, & doggies too! Will definitely return!

We have visited Laragh on three different trips to Ireland, and we are always eager to return. It is a scenically beautiful area. We love walking the trails at Glendalough amid the ancient monastic ruins, and the drive through the Wicklow Mountains is stunning. Over the years, we also have enjoyed several day trips to nearby Russborough House with its art, gardens, interesting history, and excellent restaurant. The Wicklow Heather restaurant is world class, and the cafe in the center of Laragh has excellent homemade soups and food.
Laragh is a great part of any trip to Ireland.

Laragh is just over a kilometre away from the honey pot of Glendalough which, when we were there at the weekend, was heaving with visitors. Laragh is a good place to stay because you're away from the crowds and I suspect that the dining options are better than in Glendalough. There are lots of walks into the hills from Glendalough and it is indeed a beautiful place. The long distance Wicklow Trail passes within a kilometre of Laragh. Good public transport connections either direct from Dublin by coach or by train from Wicklow and there is a bus service to connect with the trains at Wicklow.

The location of the Glendalough hotel is amazing. It is right beside the national heritage site of Glendalough, literally only metres away. Wonderful walks around the whole area.
I travelled with my teenage son, and ordered a twin room. It was spacious and clean.
As the reviews for the hotel restaurant were so bad, we booked our meals elsewhere. The village of Laragh is less than 2kms away, and I would highly recommend the Wicklow Heather restaurant. Superb. Book in advance.
We also ate at Lynams of Laragh, ok pub grub, live music.
relaxing, quiet and unique stay in an absolutely stunning location. it's so easy to do this as a 1-2 night trip from Dublin, and the location is perfect. I didn't have a car and there are easy hiking trails right near the property to get to glendalough and the trails around the lakes; it's also so easy to walk down the hill to the restaurants in the small town. so cute, clean, and a great alternative to a traditional hotel/b&b. host was super friendly and accommodating.
The room was super cozy, there was a TV with Netflix and YouTube, everything worked well in the bathroom, there were a lot of breakfast options and snacks always available in the room itself, it was a short drive to Glendalough and a short walk to an amazing restaurant, and having a separate entrance was a plus for us too. Host was very friendly, kind, and helpful, easy to reach by phone call.
A lovely b&b in beautiful Wicklow. Room was spacious, very comfortable and clean. I was greeted warmly and the check in process was straightforward. Tea/coffee making facilities are available. The location is so handy for Glendalough and other hiking areas. There is a convenience store across the road and the fab Wicklow Heather restaurant is next door. Overall, would recommend!
The house, area, and host were all exceptional. It provided the perfect home base for our family (3 generations) to explore various parts of Ireland as well as a comfortable place to kick back and spend togetherness time. Lisa went above and beyond in making us feel comfortable and welcome. I would go again in a heartbeat and would recommend to anyone.
Friendly staff, much nicer than a B&B ( actual hotel), Location, great walk/ hike opportunities, " babbling brook " behind property was lovely... real brook " white noise" with windows open for sleeping. Do 2-3 nights minimum if you really want to relax. Wish we would have booked longer stay....we will next time.
Having read some of the reviews of hotel / restaurant I had reserved expectations, however I enjoyed my stay! The staff were very friendly, room was clean and warm (single room slightly basic). I imagine the main reason people stay in this hotel for the location and hiking
Staff extremely friendly! The views were breathtaking!! The bbq area was lovely in between all the trees!! Short distance to laragh where you can get all the supplies you will need!! Stayed an extra night - which say’s a lot! Will be back soon!
Our room was lovely, the location was great - within walking distance of bars/restaurants and very close to Glendalough. The breakfast was one of the nicest I've had in a hotel and the host was very friendly.
Friendly staff. Proximity to Glendolough, 5 minute drive. Proximity to open air restaurant within walking distance. Parking space. Breakfast (extra pay) many options and made to taste. Large spacious rooms.
Wonderful location and beautiful room. Friendly and accommodating host. And the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. Short easy walk to two restaurants and small retail area.
Erica was a fantastic host, really friendly and made us feel very welcome. She is a very special lady! The food at the local restaurant was first class with wonderful service too.
Beautiful location, friendly staff, cozy, the room had everything we needed, we had our own outdoor entrance so we didn't have to go through the hotel to get to our room.
Fantastic location. Amazing host, very welcoming and couldn’t have been more helpful! The Wicklow Heather restaurant serves excellent food and has a great atmosphere.
