The food was good and very well prepared and cooked but the waitress service for breakfast was chaos , think they need some training on time management. Not only ourselves but many guests were left hanging for even after sat for a beverage or our order taken.

This is a very beautiful property and we had an excellent stay! Wheelchair accessible room worked well but I did have to separately email them to secure it even though I put the request in my Booking.com reservation request. Also there was a slight upcharge for the accessible room. Food was wonderful at the Yew and we had Afternoon Tea which was lovely. Can’t say enough about the staff and the physical setting, both outstanding!

Great location right on the river and close to everything in Kilkenny. Room was clean and spacious with comfortable beds. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable and happy to make recommendations for restaurants and sites. Rate included an excellence breakfast buffet with lots of choices. Parking on-site was included for free. Recommend staying if visiting Kilkenny!
