Lovely little coastal town with parking and good traditional Pubs like Kelly’s Bar well worth a visit you can leave the car behind and hop on the train into Cork it’s only a short trip away. Then you can shop away to your hearts content. I imagine that is a great option for the Cruise ship passengers when they visit. Oh and I don’t want to forget the restaurants like the Quays or the Titanic who look after all your needs.
Fabulous accommodation,&everything walking distance or easily accessible by car or train. Mary& Michael are lovely host beautiful home & great croissants in the morning. Really enjoyed our stay here would highly recommend.

Local businesses lacked the customer service mentality that seems prevalent throughout Ireland. Very few dining options, most of them full. Cobh is a small town easily covered in an afternoon, and nothing about the local populace invites much engagement. It was a drab experience overall.

Cobh is delightful, quite small but with many things to do mainly concerned with history of the town. It is associated with the Titanic, but amazingly the infrastructure for the big liners is still there: the White Star Line and Cunard offices are still there as is the train station which brought so many travellers to the town. There are plenty of good restaurants in the town and the town is very easy to get around. The only problem is the hilliness of the town. Also Cork city is very close by.

A picturesque little spot set on a steep hill.
A picturesque little spot set on a steep hill. Beautiful views, fantastic cathedral, interesting Titanic Experience museum. Trips out to Spike Island although we didn’t have time to visit. Easy distance for Cork City and Blarney Castle which are both recommended.
The best B&B we‘ve ever been to in Ireland. Location is top, train station and town centre within walking distance. Bedrooms ensuite are extremely large, beds/mattresses perfect and one of rooms with a wonderful view of the lake. Breakfast very comprehensive, egg dishes, salmon etc. every day.
But really unique are Marie & Joe! They anticipate your needs & wishes and give you really the feeling of beeing at home. Extremely responsive, kind and helpful. Next time in Cobh - 100% at Inver!!!
Loved the location. Overlooking the harbour, 2 mins walk to everything Cobh has to offer. The room was very comfortable. I was in room 16 and had 2 windows, one overlooking the harbour and the other looking towards the town. Best of both worlds. Food in the restaurant was exceptional. Staff were so helpful. Free parking under the hotel. Train station with frequent trains to Cork City almost next door.
Check in was easy and the room was clean. There were heated towel racks in the bathroom. It was an easy walk or drive to the main section of Cobh. Breakfast was good - there were some reviews concerned about having to pay extra for the hot foods, but the free breakfast was plenty substantial - soft boiled eggs, toast, scones, cereals, fruit, yogurt, etc.
At first we didn’t really prepare for being part of someone else’s home, and to be treated so well. The hosts are fantastic, made us feel very very welcome, a totally different and wonderful experience from any other b+b or hotel we have stayed in Ireland. View of the bay was wonderful, and the breakfast (with surprise twist) was also wonderful.
Delicious breakfast menu - accompanied by freshly baked scones and brown bread . Lovely house in quiet area - ideal location for exploring Cobh and other towns in South Cork. Enjoyed the 15 min quayside walk into the historic port centre each day. Regular short commute by train available Cobh to Cork City daily. .
Sam’s place was just fabulous, couldn’t recommend it more highly. Beautiful bedroom overlooking the water, fantastic cooking facilities and a lovely shower room. It was spotlessly clean and a great location just a few minutes from Cobh central 😊. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back .
The beautifully decorated SeaView Apartment Suite is in a great location to enjoy the area of Cobh. Our host Bernadette met us there to let us in and gave us a tour of the apartment before handing over the keys. The kitchen was generously stocked with fruit, coffee, tea and biscuits to get us started.
I loved the grandeur of the place and the lady that owns it is very helpful and goes above and beyond to ensure your stay is great. Breakfast was fab with many choices. Loved the housecoats, the big towels and room was very big. Easy walk downtown to beautiful Cobh.
Absolutely wonderful hotel right on the water. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Great location for walking around town. Restaurant next door is amazing!!! Definitely one of the best hotels we stayed at during our road trip around Ireland. Definitely recommend.
Loved our stay here. The apartment was big with a very comfortable bed, a huge fully stocked (pots/pans ect.) kitchen, and a wonderful central location. Cobh was a great little town and the stay here really elevated our experience. Would come back to stay here.
Such an absolutely lovely home, right in the center of Cobh. there is so much attention to detail from the decor to appliances, to style and efficiency. Very communicative and quick to respond with the host. We truly love this sweet and unique little home.
We had a wonderful time in Cobh and loved staying in the guest house with garden views. Hugo, our fill-in host, was so warm and friendly, and we appreciated his recommendation of The Roaring Donkey pub — a must go!
Spacious and welcoming. Excellent breakfast in the large dining room, and the sitting by the fireplace in the slicing room in the evening was an excellent way to wrap up a beautiful day spent exploring Cobh.
