Friendly, helpful hosts, comfortable rooms, economical, but best thing was the location. Literally right under the Rock of Cashel and next to Hore Abby, both places we wanted to visit. And close to town for restaurants, etc.
Just 1.1 miles from Rock of Cashel and a 12-minute walk from Brú Ború Heritage Centre, copperfield house features accommodations in Cashel, with a garden.

Our Hosts Josephine was Incredible. We are traveling with my parents that in their eighties. We traveled from the USA all night. We arrived at her B and B around 0930. Josephine not only let us check into our rooms She made us a wonderful Irish Breakfast. Her kindness and hospitality is what makes me Love Ireland. People like Josephine is why I have travelled to Ireland 4 times. The location of her B and B was in the Great little walkable town of Cashel .

Like our own little tiny house. Host was great (we had issue as we did not receive door code from Booking.com but they were there to let us in and provide recommendations for dinner). Very quite, nice breakfast fixings.
This award-winning guest house is located in 2 acres of mature gardens and surrounded by beautiful, panoramic views.

Fabulous, off the beaten path property. Lots of character. Lovely, welcoming hosts.
What an amazing, quaint town. We wished we had been there longer. There are plenty of places to visit, including the Rock of Cashel, the surrounding countryside is idyllic and there are plenty of bars and restaurants too chose from.
The people are bar far the absolute friendliest I have ever met.
The locals, once met, remember you the next day and say hello and stop to chat - you literally feel like you live there - I really did not want to leave and am already planning another visit - will be staying at the Baileys hotel again too - what an absolute diamond find that place was too
Places to eat & drink - there are plenty more but these are ones we went into:
Baileys cellar bar and Restaurant
Daverns Bar & Restuarant
Mikey Ryan's bar & Restaurant
Feehans
Some of the Quaint Irish pubs (not all listed but there are plenty more that looked lovely)
T J Ryan’s
Brosnans
Bill Foleys Bar & Lounge
Cocktail bar:
City Bar
Avoid:
The Brian Ború - bit of a dump compared to the rest of the places available to you
You don’t need a car to get around Cashel but one is needed to explore surrounding areas

We drove from Dublin to Kilkenny and then to Cashel.
We drove from Dublin to Kilkenny and then to Cashel. We stayed overnight in Cashel and visited The Rock of Cashel first thing in the morning. We then drove off to Cork.
We should've stayed in Kilkenny and then drove to Cashel in the morning as the town of Cashel was a huge disappointment. We walked around and around trying to find a place to eat - only a few places are open for dinner after 5 resulting in long waiting times at the 1 place we could get in to. We kept passing the same people walking around trying to find a place to eat at (other than take out pizza). We went into a few pubs while we waited for dinner but they were dark, smoky, and not worth even getting a beer at. A pretty unpleasant little town.

The Rock is a very easy walk.
The Rock is a very easy walk. When you get to the top take all the tours you can. The tour guides that we have meant in Ireland are to me the best in the world. They All have such passion for their country and responsibilities. If your into photography the sky and light change by the hour and can give you wonderful results. We will truly miss this place and its views.

It was such a nice well kept city!
It was such a nice well kept city! The people seemed very kind. We loved the Rock of Cashel tour and visit to the Abby. It was such a fascinating place! I took a walk around the city and enjoyed the history and architecture on each block.

Cashel is a must-see stop in any tour of Central Ireland.
Cashel is a must-see stop in any tour of Central Ireland. Not only is the monument here remarkable, but the town is centrally located in an area surrounded by other sites within an hour’s drive or so, including Kilkenny and Cahir. We chose to stay here for that reason, and it worked out really well for us.
We also recommend drives in the country around Cashel. Very very charming.
Can’t speak to the restaurants, but there are several very good groceries close to the town: Aldi, Supervalu, and Tesco.

For historians and history buffs, Cashel is a must-see stop.
For historians and history buffs, Cashel is a must-see stop. The Rock is a classic example of medieval Irish castles, and the chapel in particular is remarkable.
And there are two Sheela-na-gigs! (Look it up….) one on the Rock, and one in the posh hotel in the village.

Great location. Free parking 2 minutes away next to a nice playground. You can see the Rock of Cashel from the window of the second bedroom. Shops are close. There was a washing machine and a dryer. You just have to go outside to the small garden hut behind the house.
The doors can only be locked if you pull the handle upwards. We didn't know that.
Don't forget to pull the string next to the shower to make it work.
Everything was wonderful! The estate is charming, and our room was large with a magnificent view of the surrounding countryside. Jean and her family were very welcoming and attentive. Breakfast was scrumptious, too! Location is convenient; we visited the House of Waterford and Kilkenny before heading to the Noan Country House, and it was an easy drive to the Rock of Cashel the next morning.
This was a classic old-timey B&B. Lots of knickknacks. Teddy bears and collectible dolls strewn about. The hosts graciously made arrangements for us to be in a ground floor room as we have mobility issues. Hot and cold choices at breakfast. Gave us a great recommendation as to where to get dinner on a Sunday night--not always an easy thing in Ireland. Good parking
- heart of the little town
-clean grounds and property
-helpful instructions and responses to my questions
-check in staff and restaurant wait staff very friendly and helpful
-comfy bed
-view from our room window of sunset and Rock of Cashel
-delicious restaurant at hotel
-seems historic spot
-updated bathroom (which doesn’t match room)
-old windows
This was an easy walk to a local pub and several take away resturants. It is at the far end of the downtown area for the town with the Rock of Cashel. It was nice to have our own rooms after 5 days of sharing rooms with adult children. It would perfect for families with younger children as they had highchair , easel, swinger & ride on toys.
A very warm welcome. Josephine is a thoughtful host and provides clean and comfortable accommodation. Little seating areas inside and out to relax and admire the garden. Very close to shops and restaurants. 15-20 minute walk through town to the Rock of Cashel. Breakfast was exceptionally good.
It is not an inn - no drinks licence.
It is not a B&B - they don't do breakfast.
Mould in the bathroom, but no soap or shampoo in the shower.
No kettle, tea or coffee in the bedroom.
More of a hostel than a hotel.
Very good location, only 10 min drive from Cashel. Very very clean. Host explained everything perfectly. Lovely place with everything we needed. Breakfast provided with multiple options. 100% recommended.
The staff were very obliging.
This is an hotel run for the comfort of guests (not staff).
Breakfast was an old fashioned waiter service.
The room was elegant and quiet.
The bed was comfortable.
This place is a gem with a friendly little community that help run this place. It is in a great location, within a short walking distance to restaurants, grocery stores, and the Rock of Cashel.
The accommodation is in a quiet location close to one of Ireland's biggest attractions, Cashel Castle. The family room is interestingly furnished and made us very comfortable. I recommend.
The owners are so friendly! Breakfast was great. The view of the Rock of Cashel is amazing. It’s in a great location—close to restaurants, a grocery store and shops.
