The recorded voice in the lift for the floor announcements were great. The board games and table football were fun too.

There is lots of interesting places to visit and many good restaurants. Pity one can only really eat one dinner per evening! It's a compact city with all sites that one may wish to visit in easy walking distance for the able and lots of public transport for those who are not. Also, they have a free bus that one waves down to take you on a trip around the city though we didn't use it.

Good restaurants and as a meat eater would recommend El boeuf a la mode. Worthwhile to visit early in the day the fresh produce market in the city center. Although not in the city center a visit to Bernardaud to see Limoge porcelain is worth it, despite the fact that, the prices are exorbitant. The countryside around the city is worth exploring with a number of small towns including close.

Being an experienced traveller around various parts of the world,I can recommend Limoges as one of my favourites. The people are very helpful, most spoke some English. Getting around is easy due to a very efficient public transport system. Many and varied eating options, bars, without getting ripped off!
Only downside to Limoges is,there is no public transport into the city,so a taxi each way (28-30 euros)
3/4 days is adequate to see the all of the major sites (the porcelain museum is a must)

Three days is about right to leisurely enjoy Limoges, which is very accessible as a pedestrian to the central area. My only comment if planning a stay would be to note that the majority of museums are closed both Tuesday and Wednesday.

Nice city with interesting history. we stayed a couple of days on route to our holiday destination and stayed in the North of the city good for restaurants, bars and shops. City is too big to "do" in 24 hours.
Location-just across the parking lot from Benedictins station. The staff- from Alexandre at the front desk who could not have been friendlier and accomodating to the friendly room attendant. Ease of check-in ( 1 minute) , the excellent breakfast, and the electric black-out window shade. Beds were excellent and the place was very clean throughout. And no, I am not related to the owner, I was just very pleasantly surprised as we have stayed at other hotels next to the station and were always disappointed.
I booked this hotel because I wanted a reasonably priced option near the centre and railway station. This was a good choice - there is a spacious, relaxing lobby with a bar and lots of seating - also table football and board games. The staff were friendly and helpful and breakfasts were excellent - plenty of choice, including hot options and very good cheese. There is a walled courtyard and shady seating outside.
Excellent selection for breakfast noting the priced paid. Great value for money and super yummy pastries. Overall, exceptional friendly service, very professional with appropriate friendliness. Seriously great value for money for the room noting the convenient location to the train station, city centre and awesome food. Had a restful peaceful sleep and comfortable bed, and very practicable bathroom/shower.
I Iove its name. I loved the decoration and the fact that it’s a very old house with beautiful old wooden floors. I was immediately welcomed by the person responsible (owner?) who stays right opposite. There are no signs at all in the street so it was a bit unexpected because I was looking for a small hotel. Overall a great experience.
Beautifully decorated, newly refinished and charming property next to the cathedral.
The rooms are fresh with each one having a theme that connects to Limoges.
Easy walking distance to bars, restaurants, shopping and attractions.
The owner is gracious, helpful and accomodating. Can’t say enough good things about him! 10/10.
Easy, non-contact check in with code, no fuss. Was only a problem when guests arriving at 2am thought our room was theirs and woke us up playing with the keypad repeatedly. Huge apartment. Comfy beds, including the sofa bed. Quiet. Plenty of food options nearby. Perfect stopover apart-hotel.
Well run hotel very conveniently situated close to the old centre of Limoges. Staff very helpful, room comfortable. Breakfast was good and varied. We enjoyed visiting the large Ceramics museum, only about 20 minutes walk away. Private car park is close and very secure.
Receptionist was lovely. Hotel is very basic and rooms are small and could do with updating a bit. Decent size car park and lots of restaurants, etc nearby. Close to Limoges centre which is worth a walk round. Nice little town.
the location was good , it was quiet as next to the golf course . The room was comfortable and the bed . I had a good meal in the restaurant too as had travelled all day from south of France .
Very pleasant stay at THEIA Hotel & Suites. The property is spotless and has everything our family needed for a short stay. Great value for the money in a beautiful location.
it was very clean, elegant and a combination of contemporary and traditional in a central location ideal for breaking your journey to the South of France.
the location was very good and there was parking both in a car park or on the road. Breakfast was ok but no ham or cheese like in other Ibis budget hotels
