Our host accommodated our last minute stay and stayed up until we were able to arrive quite late. He arranged early morning taxis for us to the airport so that we didn’t have to worry after a long and exhausting day.

This was our second stay at rainbow resort as we loved it the first time we stayed a few years ago. We stayed for 2 nights and enjoyed it. It is a family fun buissness and all the hosts were so friendly and polite. They speak English as well which always helps. We got a room upgrade which was really spacious with a balcony.

Marsala is a lovely city with much to do. This where Marsala is made and organising a tasting at a winery is reccommended.
They have amazing salt ans for producing an excellent mineral salt.
Because of the high winds, Marsala is the perfect place for kite surfing and there are many schools.
Great seafront and beaches.
Lovely downtown area with inexpensive and interesting menus.
Easy to park compared to other areas of Sicily
I enjoyed it and a stay of 2 to 3 night are recommended.

Marsala and the surroundings with Mazara, Trapani, Erice are wonderful. Wine, food, kite surf, Stagnone and the Salt Museum are all unique attractions of this interesting area. Not considering the islands, Segesta, Selinunte, Castellammare and the Zingaro Protected Area.

In Marsala, the city center mainly features rocky beaches, with several boat harbors and a ferry harbor nearby. As a result, sandy beaches are quite far away from the city center. The historical center is interesting, consist of a few pedestrian streets, there are multiple cafes and shops.

Marsala is a very traditional Sicilian small town on the Western coast of Sicily. Is less than an hour's bus ride from Trapani-Marsala airport. Public transport is decent in Sicily and people are extremely friendly from the airport staff to any stranger you come across.
Prices in Marsala are usually lower than in the rest of Italy and Sicily all together is just dreamy.
Paolo y Paula ran a Sicilian restaurant in Rome for 20 years, then returned to their home in Marsala to run a B&B and extend their gracious hospitality to the lucky people who find out about them. Their meals are over the top delicious and the hosts are genuinely kind, friendly people. Meals are served in their home, and you are treated like a family guest. The home is well kept, with a quirky collection of arts and crafts throughout. They are wonderful hosts.
Wonderful small hotel in a gracious historic building, upgraded to contemporary standards. We arrived on Easter weekend and the front desk managed to get us a last-minute reservation for Sunday dinner at a top restaurant, Excellent afternoon spritz with a spread of tasty bites from the bar manager, and freshly baked breads and cakes made in-house for the lavish breakfast spread. Our compliments to the cook! Really personal service from all.
A very warm welcome from The owner of the property Fabio,
The property has just been renovated, and everything is new and confartable.
Lumie dello Stagnone is very close to the main town Marsala and to the best views for the best sunset.
I definitely recommend this place to anyone who likes to enjoy a relaxing and peaceful place with privacy. I take the opportunity to thank you again for great hospitality, and definitely, we will be back.
The view from the rooftop deck was amazing. The house was so comfortable. The windows take full advantage of the view of the salt flats. The host arranged for a chef to come and cook a meal for us on arrival night. The host was easy to contact.
We could walkto the salt flats and drive easily to Marsala for a wine tour and tasting at Florio. I would highly recommend this house.
The hotel was located on a quiet street close to all the sights. It is lovely building with a beautiful lobby. My room was modern and well appointed. I loved having a balcony overlooking the street for light and air. The staff were efficient and helpful. The star for me was the excellent breakfast with many delicious and fresh choices. I loved all the condiments available.
The Villa is beautiful, three steps from the laguna with a marvellous sunset view. It is close to Marsala (10 mins) and loads of amazing restaurants.
Our son loved playing in the garden and we loved reading in the patio with an exquisite view of the sea.
Strongly recommend it - keen to
come back on our next sun break!
What a lovely querky place to stay a few mins away from Marsala. The host is so lovely and knowledgeable and gave us loads of info of places to visit in Sicily.
The places is rich of colours, and has a artist touch. We loved staying there, very peaceful. Cesare the dog and ping the cat are soo cute and very friendly.
Great place to stay near Marsala. The hotel is great for resting/relaxing and exploring/sightseeing since the hotel is close to many sights on Sicily's west coast. The rooms are modern, clean and comfortable. The staff is very welcoming and friendly.
The restaurant serves delicious food and is worth the visit.
The Apts. Is very spacious, clean, very nice double bed, nice decorations, best part is the host, so friendly, he drove me to bus station and talk to the driver to make sure I get the right destination. Place is very well priced for very nice Apts. Will book again if I come back to Sicily, highly recomemd@
Pool area was beautiful but you have to pay to use a towel from the hotel, and there are only a couple of lounge chairs, so not enough for all guests. There is also no service there if you'd like to buy drinks while at the pool and a very ugly cleaning tool left out at all times.
The owners/staff are very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The facility is attractive, modern and clean. The location is centrally located with ready access to wineries, and a short walking distance to the center of Marsala, shops and restaurants.
Elegant hotel and comfortable room with view to the pool and the city. Very assorted breakfast and restaurant menu. Had the most delicious Seafood risotto. The hotel is close to the city center and signature wineries.
Best host in Sicily !
He was very detailed with everything!
Very charming, you would regret not booking this accommodation with Carlo :)))
Thank you so much for the lovely stay :)))
The hotel is in a converted nunnery in the heart of Marsala; the conversion is the work of a perfectionist! The location is excellent. The staff were very helpful.
