The fact we could get dinner as we wished till 10pm. The location of the property set back on a slight hill but walkable to the boulevard with entertainment.Good beds , clean classical room.. Enough parking next to hotel , safe. Restaurant , food was very good , also good value .

Loved the front desk lady and ended up getting a four hour history lesson from her! Gave us a wonderful perspective on Romania and life in Curtea de Arges. This is the kind of hospitality you love when experiencing a new country. So, I give this pensione 10 stars! Of course, the facility is new and built as a small hotel. Our room was a small suite with a living area, balcony and bedroom. They will cook you breakfast and deliver coffee to your room....very accommodating and nice. Easy on-site parking. Really wonderful bakery just a few doors down.

The princely court ruins and St Nicholas church are not to be missed. The centre is great for walking around and the market is a great place to grab a snack. We liked the Municipal museum too. We also enjoyed the Romanian food at La Costica where the locals gather. Curtea de Arges was a great surprise!
