An ordinary city in Romania.
An ordinary city in Romania. Wouldn't put it on my map to visit it . The surroundings might be of interest but I really cannot testify to that nor against as I only stayed in the city. Beautiful girls / women ( as I married one from Bacau and visiting for the past 9 years ), a few good places to eat out, a few clubs. So there might be some night life. Bacau has an airport so that is why most people go, it is not a bad place to spend a couple days, the people are friendly enough prices are not too high and then you can drive somewhere else. Like Onesti, a 30 mile drive south to see where Nadia Comaneci was born.

I thought Bacau is a beautiful city.
I thought Bacau is a beautiful city. The Christmas lights were amazing. The town is very active. Lots of people out and about but minding their own business unless you ask for help. I loved the small food shops. The food was excellent. Things are about 200-300% less expensive than in America. Very nice city.

Their restaurant, which is where the garden is, as well as a covered area, is always busy and for good reason. The food is amazing! The service is top, they can't do enough for you. I had a king room with balcony facing the garden, very worth it. The room was very clean and bed was very comfortable.If I ever come back to Bacau, for sure I am booking here and nowhere else!
