Very beautiful beaches, still pretty wild everywhere.
Very beautiful beaches, still pretty wild everywhere. No much nightlife but perfect to relax and enjoy the beach. Renting a scooter is highly recommended to get the most of the island and explore different places and beaches at your own pace.
We went to Lonely Beach, Coconut Beach and Long Beach and really lovely the 3 of them. We stayed in the fishing village in the North-East, really authentic.

The most interesting and genuine fishing village on the island, Preksway, is well worth a wander around. Some nice beaches (e.g. Pagoda Beach) but unfortunately I was a bit underwhelmed by the visual side of the island. Large areas have been flattened out to build hotels and casinos on for the Chinese tourists, so not very pleasing to the eye. Unfortunately much plastic and other trash lying around build-up areas.

Beautiful island with stunning beaches white sand and clear waters. You had to use the boats to get around as the road infrastructure is not great ! The resort's are a bit shabby, but to be expected, as this is a third world country in many ways. The people are very friendly, and, by and large, the bars and restaurants are reasonable and inexpensive.

Lovely island great beach great hotel .
If new to Cambodia I will recommend to stay for a couple of days in Siem Reap and then fly to the town nearest Koh Rong for few nights . Otherwise it is very far to drive .

Amazing location on Long Set beach - easily one one of the best beaches on the island (if not the best) and a great place to relax. Very picturesque. We had a lovely cabin with a beach view.
Close to the pier and Pub Street restaurants. Direct access on the ferry from Sihanoukville. Staff were fantastic.
Especially loved that they had a super friendly and sweet resort dog named Lucky! He made my whole holiday - they should advertise him!
Impeccable helpful staff who are thoughtful and engaging. Travel logistics getting to and from the hotel play a big part in the arrangements, I received great assistance and advice with the ferry and taxi is and the manager helped me enormously. The style of the hotel is minimalist and tasteful. The food is really delicious and I noticed guests from other neighbouring hotels coming to eat in the Secret Garden restaurant.
the location is gorgeous. probably the best beach on the island . however the hotel itself is pretty shabby. if you’re afraid of insects it’s probably not a good choice. I had to kill a couple of big spiders😃. The hotel owner is a very nice guy. he let me ride his scooter bike for free. so to sum it up it’s a wonderful location with absolutely stunning views, sunsets and sunrises but just beware of those insects😄
One of our best stay !
the place is just so amazing feeling alone on the beach🏝️ We have been upgraded on a seaview front beach room that was very nice ! We decided to extend our stay because it was so quiet and nice in a little piece of paradise.
The staff was very kind and helpful we will remember our stay there. price compared to neighbors hotels ne resort makes it really worth it! food was good though !
Probably the best spot I've stay in SE asia. Amazing place. I was looking for somewhere in Cambodia that had some of the parties you can get on Thai islands, but a more of the beaten track beach vibe. Nest delivers. Massive beds for a shared dorm, clean on arrival, hot showers and better food than most restaurants on the island. Nestival was better than full moon party lol. I'll be back 🙌🙌🙌
If you want to escape then this location is exactly what you’re looking for, just keep in mind that there are no stores or restaurants around. You can find options in couple hotels near by but that’s it. The hotel staff is nice and helpful. The beach is clean, quite and private. The hotel is fine for a few days stay, but don’t expect a lot from it. The room was a bit worn out, wi-if is okay.
A perfect hotel for a beach holiday. The hotel was on a very beautiful pristine beach. The rooms are very modern and comfortable. I had the beach view and it was amazing. It was so nice to sit out on the terrace with your morning coffee or evening wine. The manager of the property, Karolina, is amazing. She goes above and beyond to make your stay very enjoyable.
Beautiful white sandy beach, clear peaceful pool, lovely bungalows. They will arrange any activity for you. We went snorkeling, rode mopeds around the island, swam and looked for bioluminescent plankton. Food was good.
Most of Cambodia operates on cash, so having a place where we could eat, charge to the room and pay with Visa, was great.
Secluded in the sense that it was farther from the other hotels, but close enough to walk to the main town area for dinner every night. It was like having our own private beach. Plus, the ferry stops right at the hotel’s pier, walk directly to the lobby from the pier. I loved the $15/pp beach bbq buffet (lots of seafood!).
Great stay! Staff were lovely, provided a free drink on arrival, sorted out our transport hire and even gave us a Cambodian sim with data on for free as they do not have wifi! The beach was the best beach on Koh Rong, and free kayaks/snorkel equipment with the hotel. The food was also really good from the restaurant!
This hotel is pure paradise. The staff are the best in the business, so friendly. The hotel sits directly on the beach. Fabulous pool. The rooms are lovely. Great choice at breakfast. And the food on the menu is outstanding, the beef tacos are to die for. I would absolutely stay here again. Best hotel on the island.
probably the best nights sleep I have had in cambodia! The resort is beautiful and maintained to an exceptional standard, the staff cannot do enough to ensure you are being catered for, even walking down to the beach to make sure we had drinks. Our room was spotlessly clean and the bed was heavenly.
It’s was a beautiful location right on the beach with some lovely little restaurants / bars nearby to the hotel. The food and drinks at the resort were spot on and the staff were super helpful and friendly. The spa treatments were also extra relaxing with the spa being on the beach.
Excellent place. Bungalows are clean and comfortable, the beach is clean and beautiful, the food cooked at the restaurant is delicious and the staff is very nice. All of that for a very fair price.
It is lovely and highly recommended.
Beachfront hotel with lovely views and the most wonderful accommodating staff in the world! So helpful and kind, and their food is also very tasty. Highly recommend this place, and it’s only a few meters from the ferry port.
Best place to stay on Long Set Brach without a doubt. Long Set is the best beach on Koh Rong. Best selection of western food on the beach although those staying more than 3-4 days might find the menu a bit limited.
Amazing time in a beautiful resort. Putstanding beach, excellent food, and 2 swimming pools. The hotel is located on a beautiful beach, and the sunset was one of the most beautiful I've ever seen.
Cheap price and kind personal. Location is pretty nice but it is a pretty long walk to the nest hostel where the partys are. But if you're not looking for a party it is a nice cheap hotel.
