Cowes is a live town not just a tourist town with everything you need easily accessible. Lovely locals, lots of options, interesting and nature all around. Easy, short drive to Penguin parade and multiple beaches. Very clean, safe and picturesque, a great location from which to discover the island's many attractions.

Stayed at North Pier Hotel .
Stayed at North Pier Hotel . We booked family room which comes with an outdoor patio. Great location. Within walking distance to family friendly beach and restaurants. We had the best lamb curry in Chocolate Factory cafe. Not spicy, lamb was tender, suitable for kids. Love the fish and chips!! We purchased bundle pass which comes with Penguin Parade, Churchil Island (picnic area, picturesque view, Highlander cow), Koala Conservation (spotted lots of koala on the trees while walking on boardwalk). Highly recommended these places of interest.

I am sending these 2 photos as on the screen shot you see I paid for a studio with patio and balcony and all I got was this pod for $500 per night.
They lied about what my accommodation was to you.
Probably because they had a big group staying as well they decided to shove me down in a "trades pod".
Unacceptable! They need to give me a refund and booking.com can't trust them in the future!
Thanks Kerry

Location for brunch and lunch great, disappointed in evening meals.
Good base if you have car to explore island.
The Thai restaurant is an experience and great value and food. The two upmarket restaurants were disappointing, expensive and food unfortunately was underwhelming.
We stayed in the boat house apartment at Oaktree lodge for three nights. Every little detail was thought of including everything you need for breakfast. Sue the owner even provided a little bed for my son. The decorations and cosy atmosphere were heavenly. So relaxing and comfortable and close to Cowes and all attractions. With quiet garden and sea views. This is perfect for a romantic weekend as a couple or a family of three get away. Highly recommend this place!!! Sara
The place was clean. Beds are very comfortable. Staff was very friendly and very helpful. The cottage looks much better than the photos on their website. It was bright and full of natural lights. The location was quiet and yet very close to Cowes city centre. All in all, we had beautiful stay at Woodbyn Resort. Will definitely stay there again next time we visit Phillip Island.
Cowes is the place to stay on Phillip Island, and Captain's Nook is walking distance to the centre of town for shops, cafes and restaurants.
Birdlife and wildlife are excellent in the vicinity, Penguin Parade not to be missed (and worth paying for premier seats)
Captains Nook is very well set up, perfect for up to 5 people. Very comfortable bed, lovely spa bath, 2 lounge areas.
We had a 2 bedroom park villa and it was very new.
Everything in it was immaculate and well thought out.
The park itself in a great location Cole’s and Woolies mins walk away. Main Street of Cowes 5 minutes walk. Lots of great restaurants and amazing ice cream at Isola de Capri.
Staff at park very friendly and knowledgeable.
Location is beautiful I accidentally booked it as i thought it was a single house at a hotel complex where the essentials would be provided less to pack but I didn't realise once you hit reserve there's no going back. Bbq and Spa are great one underground parking provided. Lots for family to do we had a good time sightseeing.
Absolutely beautiful house with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Location is perfect and within walking distance to the Main Street of Cowes. The decks on the back and front of the property are beautiful and a great way to spend the day. The street is quiet and tucked away. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
House was a beautiful place to stay, clean and lots of space. Very near to everything we wanted to do on Phillip Island. Would recommend this place for anyone to stay.
Had everything we needed, and even had things for the kids to play with.
Our Unit was extremely clean, loved the quietness in the night. wonderful to have the balcony in the sun in the afternoon, good location to all that Phillip Island has to offer. would stay here again, staff also very friendly
Genesta House is by far the best B&B we have stayed in. The host, Simmone was such a delight to meet, extremely knowledgeable about everything on Phillip Island and very generous with extra surprise goodies for our room.
The house was much bigger than expected and the 10 of us had plenty of room to enjoy our stay. Modern, clean and comfortable, it was everything we needed for our time away.
Great house for our extended family to all be together.
Two sitting areas were comfortable and large bbq and back yard. Very safe place for our dog. Well fenced.
this house is excellent for young families, very comfy beds, great location to Cowes Main Street (short 2-3min drive), everything provided that we needed
