Charleston is an awesome walking city. So much history.
Charleston is an awesome walking city. So much history. Definitely take a walking tour, as soon as you arrive. A great way to learn the lay of the land and what Charleston is all about. Restaurants are way above most cities. You can tell the chefs take great pride. We enjoyed "Southbound Restaurant!" Every bite was incredible with different taste that we could not pinpoint but enjoyed immensely! Make reservations well in advance, as the weekends are full. Great city for couples and girls weekend. Lots and lots of shopping! Fun City!

This was my third time in Charleston.
This was my third time in Charleston. I really love this city! We went to the South Carolina aquarium again and had a fabulous time. We also went out to Fort Sumter, which was an amazing trip. However, it was very windy that day. We also went out to Boone Hall plantation, and that was very informative and very interesting as well. Shem Creek and Sullivans Island were also wonderful.

I love Charleston.
I love Charleston. We spend most of our time at the beach, typically either Isle of Palms or Folly. Parking is the biggest annoyance, especially at Folly because there are limited parking areas and most just park on the side of the road, and it is hard to find somewhere close to beach access entry points. Folly has more tourist type shops, whereas Isle of Palm only has a few. It is a beautiful area, there are plenty of things to do, and plenty of places to eat. We ate at Reds Ice House and it was AMAZING!
There are a lot of historic things down town that are awesome to see. We went at night time and spent our time walking around reading the historical signs and seeing the buildings.

Everything about Charleston was wonderful.
Everything about Charleston was wonderful. The only issue I had was Booking.com’s misrepresentation of the amenities which weren’t available at the hotel. Since my husband is handicapped we were at a disadvantage with no other alternative since booking.com required payment in full and we couldn’t cancel our reservation and relocate to a facility with the required amenities for a handicapped person.
The hotel was very close to the venue we were there for (Carolina Ice Palace). The staff was friendly. I appreciated the extra steps the man who checked us in took, he pointed to our room number instead of saying it out loud for all the lobby to hear.It was very short driving distance to downtown Charleston, so that was also nice!
Great hotel to stay while in Charleston. Not in the city centre, but super convenient regadless of whether you want to see the historic part of the city (easy drive away), the Patriots Point museum or Boone Plantation. Great staff, good breakfast. Very nice gym and compliemntary laundry room access. Would definitely stay again!
The room was pretty big The hotel was located in a good location just a little north of the downtown scenic area. But it's on a street with lots of restaurants and stores. Breakfast was standard. Check in was not the best as employee gave me wrong room that did not exist. Overall a good stay. Gym was ok and it has a big pool.
Location is ideal, right in the heart of downtown Charleston and easy walking to stores and restaurants. The room was clean and nice, and the staff was very friendly. Breakfast was good too, but has a relatively minimal selection. Also, we’d recommend the MESU restaurant at the hotel, their food was really good.
This was one of the nicest hotels we’ve stayed in, in a long time. It was super clean, and smelled clean. The front desk staff was super nice and helpful with things to do around the area. The hotel is about 20-30 minutes from James Island and downtown Charleston (opposite directions of course).
fantastic location right in the heart of downtown Charleston, close to the market, Kings Street and plenty of restaurants. breakfast was great, good variety and very friendly staff. Rooms were well equipped and a good size. The Inn offers wine and nibbles at 4-5 everyday which was great
The hotel was acceptable. It was mostly clean and updated. Location was downtown and not far to uber to the historic district and other locations around town. It was reasonably priced compared to other options in Charleston, so my expectations were met.
I’ve stayed here a few times now. It’s the most affordable hotel in the historic district and it’s right downtown. It feels very safe too. If you’re going to explore downtown Charleston this hotel is in the perfect spot and will save you some money.
great, central location in downtown Charleston. friendly staff. big rooms. great coffee shop and restaurant in the hotel. cute and lively courtyard in the center of the hotel. pretty expensive for a weekend trip but charming hotel overall.
Perfect location for us.
About a $15 Uber to downtown Charleston.
About 10-15 minutes to Isle of Palm Beach.
The breakfast was amazing for a hotel with a very sweet little lady providing excellent friendly service!
Our stay in Charleston was wonderful. The hotel is excellent, very clean, organized and quiet. Their breakfast is very good. There is on-site parking and it's pretty easy to go from there to Downtown Charleston.
Conveniently located off I-20 West entrance, it is 15 mins away from Charleston Downtown. This hotel was good value for money. The breakfast had a few options to choose from. Rooms were spacious and clean.
The room was nice and clean. Much better than some more expensive hotels where I've stayed in Charleston. Staff was super. Everyone was extremely nice. I liked having the valet service for my car also.
Nice enough room, easy check in and grand for an overnight stay in Charleston - good location for the airport, but a little bit out of the Downtown to go in and come back to get changed before dinner.
The location for this hotel was very ideal for a one night stay and was a great price for being close to downtown Charleston. There's a shopping right across the street for your convenience as well.
