While this motel was very basic accommodation, it was comfortable and exceptionally clean. It had everything we needed, and was the best value for money I have had in years. The check in was also exceptionally friendly. All in all, a very good experience, and we plan on making this a regular stop on our trips.

It s a great stop over spot traveling through PA as the gas prices are cheaper than the Pittsburgh/Philadelphia areas. A lot of brewery themed restaurants. Easy to get anywhere as it is served by major interstate highways in every direction.

Historically Civil War with Dickinson College and beautiful old houses. The main drag, Hanover Street has great shops and boutiques and restaurants and pubs. There's even a bowling alley a little ways out of town. Very close to Gettysburg. It's a short drive of 3 hours from New York City and 3 hours from Pittsburgh PA.
I love the place ! Also decorated beautifully for Christmas.

Carlisle was a convenient midway stop on a few trips I took this year. The town has everything a traveler would need in terms of restaurants, fuel, accommodations, etc. There are places to visit related to the Army War College there, but I didn't get to visit on these particular trips.

We went to Carlisle for the Chrysler Nationals.
We went to Carlisle for the Chrysler Nationals. It was great, but there's a lot of extra traffic which is to be expected for an event held at Carlisle. They have over 3,000 cars showing up for the show, theres swap meet with a ton of vendors. A lot of homes around Carla let you park in their yard for a fee it was very convenient.

Didn't have time to explore area si no judgement.
Didn't have time to explore area si no judgement. McDonald's ice cream cone melted as the curious says you can't eat that driving. Questioned parking for pickip area otherwise it would melt. Had I realized earlier I would have gotten a cup. Sat by exit licking away til break in traffic only to have ice cream melted all over me not to the extreme because it was a small delivery at a hefty price. Now I know. Motel less than mile away.
We were very impressed with the front desk staff and their exceptional customer service. An added touch was the fresh fruit offered throughout the lobby. When we went into our room it smelled so nice and the cleanliness was above exceptional. The breakfast buffet had everything and anything possible on it. It also was exceptional. We can’t stop talking about the fact that the best hotel we have ever stayed at. I want to go back to PA just to stay again. We have told all our friends and family about the hotel.
The mattress and pillows were comfortable. The towels were good quality. The tissues were better than most hotels. The facility is long overdue for updates/remodeling. It was as clean as it could be. I was disappointed to get a smoking room. Where we come from, that is illegal. Blankets and spreads were riddled with cigarette burn holes. Plenty of hot water. Located close to the highway and was just fine for a one night bed and shower on our way to the destination.
This hotel is AMAZING! The staff is friendly, the food is amazing, there are lots of breakfast options, the rooms are spacious, towels come in a sealed pouch to ensure cleanliness, free ice cream in the lobby 24/7, comfy beds, clean, and quiet. There is also an outdoor seating area with a grill and furniture.
OMG the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in at a hotel! 5 stars alone for the bed. Staff was friendly, check-in and out was easy, parking was easy, room was big and clean, shower/bathroom light was a little dim but was a good size for a solo travel.
An excellent hotel! We are lifetime members now. Vicki Kirkwood and GM Shawn Lehoux are absolutely top of their game. Both employees are extremely good assets to the hotel. We had an issue checking in and they resolved the issue perfectly. Thank you!!
We needed to ask for plates, bacon and eggs several times. It was hard for the check in staff to keep things moving. However when asked they went the extra mile.
The hotels location is awesome for getting off and on the highway.
The $800,000 worth of Corvettes in the parking lot when we showed up. It was the only hotel within miles for the Carlise event. The AC was ice cold....I will give them that. Other than that this place was horrible.
Breakfast was sufficient and good.
The location is excellent, especially if you arrive from the north on I-81 going south.
We were happy to see the old carpet gone and replaced with flooring, gives a clean feeling.
