Shower water pressure amazing! Hot tub and indoor pool were great. Indoor pool temp is posted each day (was around mid-80s for our stay). Breakfast was usual Marriott hotel selections. Perfect location, not to busy and not too far from anything. Easy first floor elevator; there was usually always one elevator open and awaiting on the first floor. Breakfast staff was always so cheerful. Coin washer/dryer was easy to access/use and worked great. Provided tourist flyer options for town near ice machine on first floor.

    Wilmington is BEAUTIFUL!

Wilmington is BEAUTIFUL! So much to do and for everyone in the family! We had our daughter and 2 dogs with. Downtown is stunning with a beautiful and long Riverwalk with so many sights to see. The beaches are beautiful and accessible. 10/10 recommend visiting!

A great city that has much to offer.

A great city that has much to offer. The downtown is on an upward turn and there are plenty of good restaurants and a few good shops, they could use some more. The Riverwalk is nice and the carriage tour fun for some history. The Wrightsville Beach area is perfect for a beach day or walk. A few little shops and a great pier. Love SUNdays and the surf shop below. Better food downtown but that could change, parking is pricey and hard to find, be prepared. Better to park outside the beach area a bit and walk in ...

Spend the extra few bucks to stay somewhere else. The room smelled so bad that I went to the room at 8 pm and left at 4 am. The mattress on the bed must be at least 40 years old. You could feel the springs. I got up and left at 4 am.

I left the town immediately after we left the house. Wilmington can be a nice place but we didn´t learn it due to unpleasant night. Luckily I could forget it when visiting other beautiful places. During the trip we´ve been visiting NY, VA, NC, SC, Washington D.C.

The beach is close but the parking in some areas were over expensive. You either have to go really early or really late for parking. The USS NC battleship was really nice and it's definitely worth the price. Me, my husband, my brother, and my 4 yr old son went. It was fun for all ages.

location and view from property great. walking distance to the old historic town of Wilmington - quaint and beautiful. also upgrading the walkways and park one street up from the ‘front’ street - it will look absolutely stunning when finished. Great eateries, NY Pizza (delish) and a few others where your tired leggs can recouperate a while we will definitely Visit Walk the wooden walk way from the pier and visit the Battleship - quite remarkable. Also has the western seaside, marina, beaches and restaurants - you will enjoy!

The hotel was modern with great amenities such as an indoor pool, fitness room, complimentary breakfast, snacks for purchase, guest laundry, elevators, etc. We really appreciated that there was guest laundry on our floor. Therefore, we didn’t have to walk up or down to other floors in order to do our laundry. The staff were friendly. The hotel was located in a convenient area with nearby shops and restaurants. Overall, we recommend staying here, and we plan to stay again if we visit Wilmington, North Carolina again in the future.

This place had everything you could need for a stay in Wilmington! Conveniently located just a short walk from the river or downtown area. The kitchen was fully stocked, complete with complimentary reusable water bottles and a basket of snacks. The bathroom was spacious and included all toiletries. The free laundry room was also an added bonus! The design was everything you’d want out of a boutique stay and more! I loved how the decor and design elements even stuck with the honeycomb theme of “The Hive.”

The entire staff was super friendly and the hotel is extremely clean! You would never know it was a pet friendly hotel by looks and smell of it! The hot breakfast, although limited due to Covid, was delicious! The hotel pool, although a little small, was sufficient, even with a full hotel. The location was great with just a short drive to the beach! Restaurants and shopping are close, plus the Carolina beach boardwalk was only a 30 minute drive!

I liked that the hotel had a bar/restaurant on site when we came in from seeing the sights we were able to grab a bite. Food was yummy too! Staff was very nice. Hotel was right on the popular strip and close to everything. Wilmington does have some cute murals to check out. The Battleship is a must see! Check out Downtown AND if you happen to like One Tree Hill or Dawsons Creek check out all the filming locations

This was one of the best places we’ve stayed. The location is quiet, safe and centrally located, you can easily get to all the good stuff in Wilmington-Wrightsville Beach-Carolina Beach. It’s comfortable, clean and it’s easy to prepare meals in the well appointed kitchen. We didn’t have children with us but, in the future, we think the grandkids would love it! Hoping to return next year!

Food at the hotel was really good. Breakfast was excellent. Room was ok. Bit disappointed that we had a kitchen but no cutlery/crockery. 2 paper cups. What's the point of a kitchen? I did get 2 proper cups from the restaurant. And milk too. I think proper cups would be appreciated. No kettle either Dont they have English guests who want a cup of tea? Location good.

Location was good, near all the places I needed to go. The breakfast was good; I didn't get to try the waffles because someone was apparently making a stack and there was a line, which I didn't have time for, but the eggs and sausage were good. I was very glad to find a nice hotel that was pet friendly and near the campus. The also had a nice dog-walking area.

I arrived in the area sooner than expected so I called the hotel and asked about checking in early and was allowed to do that for one of two rooms. That was a big help to our family because we were able to change our clothes and prepare for the beach. The front desk attendant was new to the Wilmington area and was very polite.
