There are other towns around Detroit that you can enjoy, if you are with a family, dont stay in Warren, look for a better place, or keep to Downtown Detroit. Make sure to empty the car, and dont leave anything in the car that can be seen from the windows.

In it’s day this would have been a great place to stay it still is but it’s amenities are showing their age. The suite was spacious quiet and the bed comfy . Due to the holiday weekend, we arrived on Memorial Day the lack of staff was very noticeable our room was not properly cleaned and the rubbish in the hallway was off putting. Would we stay there again maybe.

I like the area it was close to just about everything.
I like the area it was close to just about everything. I was attending a funeral in Detroit and this is where I stayed. The weather was great except for the rain storm the first night. I would go back for another visit, very safe area.

Warren is very convenient to other places in the Metro Detroit area. It is a more cost-effective location, especially the Super 8, the Hawthorn—I would avoid; I’ve stayed at both. There are several good restaurants in Warren, on a Friday, you can go to the buffet lunch at the Ukrainian Cultural Center.

Warren has turned into a high crime danger zone.
Warren has turned into a high crime danger zone. It used to be a really nice area. The GM Tech Center was always a draw for class people. Now the surrounding area is one where you need to constantly be looking over your shoulder. Not as bad as Detroit, but pretty close, mostly because the criminals from Detroit have moved out to Warren.
We were able to book a room at this hotel last minute when my daughter and I were in Detroit for the Taylor Swift Eras Tour concert. The staff was very friendly and accommodating when we needed to needed an early check-in in order to get ready for the concert. The room was available 4 hours early. We were incredibly grateful. The room was very clean and comfortable. If we are ever in the Detroit area again, we will definitely consider staying at this hotel.
Completely incompetent staff. Though I had confirmation and PIN from Booking.com, hotel had no record and I had to find other accommodations last minute. Booking.com was also useless because they said the hotel had to approve a cancellation for a reservation the hotel claimed didn’t exist. Both Hampton Warren and Booking are on my shitlist and I’m blasting them on social media as incompetent, zero customer service and thieves.
I enjoyed the hotel vibe, it was a great experience for the overnight stay. The hotel was clean and smell great so much so it felt like I was home. The staff were very friendly! The room was better than what I expected, I would definitely book again! Plus the location was less than 30 minutes from where I needed to go and there is a Kroger and shopping stores in the area too.
The breakfast and the breakfast selections were adequate. The spacing of the tables was to our liking. The parking lot spaces provided plenty of room. The Front Desk staff is a tremendous asset to this Courtyard Marriott. They were warm, friendly, and extremely helpful. The housekeeping staff was also warm and friendly.
Loved the hotel and the room. The Staff was exceptional including Sylvia, The Manager and the service clerks were all very helpful and great to work with. They resolved my issue with the booking company and fully accommodated me. I will definitely book here again.
I might’ve went at a bad time. The whole city of Warren/Detroit power was out. So everyone ran to stay at the hotels until they power came back on. Very loud, very ghetto, disturbing. Maybe I should’ve went far out to another extended stay
Just a terrible hotel. Dirty room, dirty territory. The pungent stench of marijuana .This is the worst hotel I've ever been to. For the money they charge, you can find a much better hotel.
In the morning someone called from the hotel and said it was overbooked ..promised to call in an hour, never called back, I had to call the hotel to double check that my booking is ok.
the front desk receptionist I believe he was the manager was so kind and helped me with everything! I will truly come back and give the hotel another try just because of him!
