While I was in Wichita there were many great places I stopped by to see. The Wichita Art Museum was absolutely fantastic and The Keeper of the Plains Statue on the river was super cool! I also stopped by the Wichita State Baseball field and The Original Pizza Hut Museum with was pretty cool. Finally, if you are looking for an arcade or something fun to go to at night, I would highly recommend The Arcade! It was only $12 for unlimited play and they have tons of 80s and 90s arcade games!

Good location with easy access to shopping and restaurants.
Good location with easy access to shopping and restaurants. We ate at the Salt Grass Steak house. Great food and close to the hotel. Would recommend both. Getting around Wichita was good. Majority of the road work was done on 96 since our last visit.

When we arrived the front door did not stand out and the place looked in disrepair. I asked the front desk lady if there was anyway I could cancel my room and she said not without losing my $169. Yes, they say the rooms are 119 but after all the hidden fees it was $50 more then the advertised price. Also, they charge $100 to your debit card just in case you tear up the room. I have yet to see this money returned to my card. The place was dirty and run down and location is horrible as it's on the opposite side of town where restaurants and entertainment was. Very disappointed as this was a room that should have been maybe $69. However, it was for our anniversary so we wanted a little bit of luxury, but this place didn't have anything but the basics which were run down. The bed sheets didn't even fit the bed so we kept adjusting them. The TV is confusing if you are not a COX customer and use it at your home. We just wanted to scroll through the channels and that took a while to figure out. Also, both remotes needed new batteries so we were going to call the front desk and the room didn't have any phones. Please do yourself a favor and stay away from this hotel.

I grew up in Wichita and was back visiting for the holidays. It’s probably not a go to place for vacation unless visiting family or friends but has everything anyone would want for shopping and dining.

Seemed like a lot of homeless for a Midwest town.
Seemed like a lot of homeless for a Midwest town. Larger than expected. Crime seemed to be high. During our one night visit, our rental car was used to visit a nearby restaurant. On the way home, rammed by another car which fled the scene. Taken by ambulance to a filthy downtown hospital for treatment. The hospital seemed to specialize in turning away patients. Ah, no, I won’t be returning to this city.
That's the problemthey didn't serve breakfast anymore. And nobody told us that I've stayed here a few times and I really enjoyed everything about the hotelbut then they stopped for a bit because they were reconstructing the breakfast room. Just to find out they don't serve breakfast anymore. Which makes no sense to me. But that's why I'm not giving it all ratings like I usually do. Very, very disappointing the big area that they had upstairs and they can't even Serve Waffles
I don’t even stay the next GNR. We looked at the room and saw the atmosphere. We saw a bug on the bed and left. There were aketchy people there and the bathroom was filthy. We requested a refund, and they said we couldn’t get a refund because we reigistered fhrough you. I am currently trying to reverse the charges on my card. I wouldn’t recommend that anyone stay there.
We have family in the area, so this is very handy location for us. Easy in, plenty of parking, and Braum's close by. We try to get a suite, because we are older and like to have a little more room to move around. The breakfast is the normal fare, not bad, hot. The beds are comfortable, and so are the pillows. Any more, many hotels have a thin, postage stamp sized pillow.
Good breakfast. Superior to the usual prepackaged continental breakfasts you see at typical hotels. Fresh eggs & grits, good coffee. I like they had real plates available & not styrofoam only.
Staff was very friendly & accommodating. Comfortable room. Convenient location after a long drive.
Staff is friendly and facilities are nice. The bar/restaurant in the hotel is a great amenity!
Our room AC did not work, so we contacted the front desk. The maintenance men couldn’t fix it, so got us moved right away and gave us free breakfast for the next morning. Mario and Jerry were great!!
The restaurant served marvellous food. The gym was OK. Remember they do count the weights in pounds, not kg. 😉
The small coffee brewer at the room made good smelling and tasting coffee and this made me happy. The fridge at room was a good facality.
The shuttle was good service. Thank you!
Friendly staff, super comfy beds and a very well appointed room. My wife and I loved the place and highly recommend it to anyone traveling to Wichita. Extremely handy have the Irish Pub into front of the hotel too!! Wink, Wink.
10/10 from us.
.This is a suite hotel where you have accommodations to prepare your own meals. Comfy pillows and bed. Had most utensils in kitchen. Front desk promptly replaced anything you asked them to. Decent shower. Room is very large with nice layout.
Historic with remarkable renovation including interesting artifacts. Room was spacious including a kitchenette. Staff was wonderful. Had (2) marvelous meals within walking distance of hotel. Parking was FREE!
Outstanding front desk staff. Outstanding room and fantastic beds! Booked Thru a third party but I do prefer booking directly with hotel. But this worked out. Loved pool! Breakfast was good. Thank you
I really enjoyed the space and the staff. I had an issue with bathroom and they were quick to get it fixed and make sure to always answer my questions.
