Kolimibia is fine.
Kolimibia is fine. It is however an excellent base to explore Rhodes, Faliraki, Lindos. They are all beautiful locations. The beach bar is Kolimbia is fabulous. The best places to eat is the authentic Greek taverns. There are two taverns just outside of the town enroute to seven springs. You will need a car. Kolimbia is a quiet spot but not too far away is Faliraki which has a busier nightlife. Lindos is a must. If possible do Lindos and Rhodes at night. St.Pauls bay is one of the most beautiful bays in the world.

I liked everything: the grounds, the hotel itself is very cosy and clean, the staff is wonderful and very helpful, the atmosphere is amazing, the food selection.
I hope the owners appreciate the staff, because they are an asset.
It seems that we have found a hotel where we liked absolutely everything ( well, maybe I would suggest changing the wine :))

You need a car.
You need a car. Good selection of restaurants and water sports offered. We were able to hire a boat for the day which was great as we were able to go round the coastline at our leisure and stop off at different beaches when we wanted to as opposed to the organised trips which dictate when and where you stop. The beach was nice but we preferred Tsampika beach which had more facilities. Sun bed hire was 10 euro for 2 beds for the day and waiter service on app. Kolimbia is a good location for then visiting Rhodes town - old town is a must see. You need to get there early to find parking. Lindos with the Acropolis which has to be seen is also easy to reach. After Acropolis there is also St Paul's Bay which although very pretty, wanted 40 euro for 2 sunbeds and food was very expensive and not much different to what you can get at Tsampika. The water was oily and slimy from boat fuel. We felt the place was a rip-off and would not go again despite it being advertised as a private beach.

Midpoint and in easy reach of Old Town Rhodes (a must see), buzzing Faliraki, Tsambika beach with sea parks and water activities, Stegna with best seafood restaurants and picture perfect Lindos! Hire a car to explore and get to secluded beach coves.
The welcome we received from Leonidas at Casa di Lusso was very personal. We stayed at No. 7 which had a very stylish interior with a boutique hotel atmosphere. All the rooms are uniquely decorated. Leonidas couldn’t do enough to make our stay enjoyable. We suggested that bedside lamps would be good and he bought some the same day. We were blown away by the gardens, pool and different seating areas. His mother gave us her home-made marmalade and his father was very friendly. we enjoyed 4 blissful days and would love to return.
The hotel is very clean and up to date, everything is newly renovated, The food during the day is lovely, fresh krepes and waffles, fresh fruit and lovely cocktails. The only staff we never had issues with was the floor staff in the restaurant, vasili, Maria and Angela. entertainment staff are lovely and really funny. The bus stop that is directly outside of the hotel is really handy and takes you everywhere (lindos,Rhodes, seven springs, faliraki, and various different beaches) overall we would give the hotel a 7.5.
The hotel was great, the location was exceptional, 20m walk down to the beach. Great entertainment 3 times per week., although the DJ could be more enthusiastic!
A big thanks to Alex the animator for his consistency and good mood for the organization of games and activities (ping pong, darts, water polo, stretching, Yoga) Gracias tio! :)
The food was good but the beer was watered down :( Good range of alcoholic drinks when going all inclusive as we did.
We would go back! :)
The food at breakfast, lunch and dinner buffets and the 2 restaurants was very good. There is a beach right next to the hotel, which we found great already (for snorkeling and water sports too), and Tsambika beach is only a 10 min drive away. Both Rhodes and Lindos are easily reached.
There is a lot to be said for the good and clean facilities and fun activities, also for children, even the smallest, but what made this place exceed our expectations was its friendly staff.
Fantastic small family all inclusive hotel. Staff, food, value, location all great. I can't say enough about the friendly people working at the hotel. Great location on the island, food was fresh, beautiful beaches within walking distance to the resort, pretty pool, clean rooms, and a quiet atmosphere good for families. I would recommend this place to others and come for another visit. We had a great stay! Disco night was a highlight and so fun for everyone of all ages.
Everything was great. The hotel manager took care of us, when we arrived in the morning. He even offered us to have breakfast, although we were supposed to arrive at 2 pm. That was very kind. We liked the hotel and always felt comfortable and well. When we needed some help or advice, they always were there for us. We really appreciate that. So, if you are looking for a hotel on Rhodes. go for Marathon Hotel. You won´t regret it :)
Best regards :)
This was a wonderful small hotel and all the staff were very friendly and helpful, very clean throughout the hotel. well located for sightseeing and a very nice supermarket attached for anything we needed. The all inclusive was very good and the plenty of choice at every meal time, although the drinks choices were a little limited in the restaurant. I would definitely recommend the hotel, especially for couples wanting a quiet, relaxing holiday.
Everything was amazing. Perfect pool, high quality food, very clean all the resort. But what I liked the most was how well the staff was treating the guests. They were simply the best. I liked them all, so perfect. Special thanks also to Giota Maitre from La Pasteria and Nektaria Kakouli, about their professional and friendly approach.
Although there were fires in Rhodes, we felt perfectly safe. I would repeat this great trip and hotel !
The property is amazing. Exceeding my expectations. The guests have private sun beds walking distance from the hotel. The variety of the food is good and very tasty. I felt like home and was hosted always with staff smiles. They work super hard to have every guest comfortable to have a good time. Excellent service!
Not many places can make you fell home as Villa Rizia. The place is spotless, everything is curated in every detail, Angela and Bobi are welcoming, helpful and always going the extra mile. With no doubt whenever heading back to Rhodes we will back here, without second thoughts or further research
The staff were wonderful, Radi the bartender introduced us to new amazing drinks. The food was the best I've had in an all inclusive hotel. They have a bus stop to the city about 3min from the hotel and the neighbourhood is safe. It was for sure worth the price!
The apartment and private pool were exquisite. It was conveniently located on the main Rhodes road. The quality of the bed was great. A lot of good restaurants nearby. The staff even helped us with some matters after we had already checked out for some days.
The staff was very friendly. The pool was large and very clean. The location was very close to the beach, 500m, and in the center of the town. The food was good. The pizza and kabab stand was excellent, which is open outside of the normal meal hours.
The setting is idyllic. Clearly one of the most beautiful hotels I have visited, minimalist as I like.
The staff is super nice (a plus for Vasilis!!).
We stayed in the split suite which is incredibly well decorated, it's beautiful.
We've visited for a week and we would stay more! Lots of activities for children. Many kinds of food, there is always something to eat somewhere in the hotel. The staff was extremely nice, and helpful
Such a peaceful, clean & beautiful place! We only stayed for one night but would have loved to stay for more. Next time I’m in rhodes this is at the top of the list
Good location near to the beach, the all inclusive option is practical, the food is medium quality, but we always found something which we liked, the room was ok.
