The hotel is directly on a great beach. It offers also a beautiful cleen pool and a restaurant with great food and super service. Also we could order directly from our sunbeds on the beach. The rooms are well maintained, clean and confortable. You can easy recognise here owners with an eye for all the details making life easy and beautiful. George, Zorana, Juliet and all the staff are very friendly, eficient and making our holidays perfect.

A clean apartment close to the sea, some nice quiet secluded beaches nearby, a very friendly owner, comfortable beds, nice balcony wih sea view! take a solution anti-mosquitos for the room and spray for body. A very nice place, below there is a restaurant with fresh good food, highly recommended!

Nothing at all. Everything was broken, starting from the entrance door, head shower was broken, mosquito's net also, electricity was down twice, cleaning services were inexistent.

The location is very nice, near the beaches and Zante Town. Alex and his family are very kind, always paying attention to all the details (e.g. food, accommodation, recommendations for places to visit) and providing you with the best experience as their guest. The breakfast is very diverse and delicious. We recommend to try their traditional home-cooked meals which are amazing. There is also a port nearby from where you can take boat trips to Blue Caves and Navaggio Beach. We will definitely come back to this location!

We liked the very small beach just below the Shoestring bar...
We liked the very small beach just below the Shoestring bar and restaurant and when we occasionally ate out of an evening we liked the Lemon Tree Taverna just 200m from the apartment. Alikanas is easy to get around and has a couple of reasonable supermarkets and tourist shops. It has a pharmacy and a private emergency medical centre.LaurenceUnited Kingdom - 10Scored 10
Home away from home.
Home away from home. Whether you've visited multiple times or for your first trip you will be treated as a long lost friend throughout the resort. Every restaurant and bar has it's own special charm but all are worth a visit. Many bars and hotels allow you to use their pool and facilities. Alykanas beach is a shallow, sheltered cove and Rasa provides a more remote but picturesque alternative. Shoestrings is certainly worth the walk.

This is our 3rd time in Alikanas, its such a lovely location...
This is our 3rd time in Alikanas, its such a lovely location its lovely and flat for people to get around you can walk straight onto the beach from the road there is plenty to do and plenty to see with the locals willing to help they are very friendly. The views are amazing, its only a short drive from the airport which is good.

It was great but stay away from golden dolphin company.
It was great but stay away from golden dolphin company. They offers cruisis arround the island is not worth it find another company. Alikanas is best place for vacation on zante. Its not so crowded and loud as laganaki on southern part of island. And there are also better prices and people are very friendly and nice.

Everything is new inside (contrary to my experience in Greece where you usually find some old or broken furniture) and extremely clean. Photos fully correspond to what we saw in the room. Cleaning every day and changing bed sheets every three days exactly as described. Wi-Fi and air-con worked fine. Nice patio. We used kitchenette and refrigerator a little too. Short walking distance to the beach. Maria is a super friendly host! Would definitely come back again if visiting Zakynthos again.
