    Beautiful trail along the beach.

Beautiful trail along the beach. We had supper at Michael's Pizzeria - the best pizza and Caesar salad I've had in a while! I'd also recommend the Starlite Diner for breakfast - wonderfully homemade! Summerside has a lot to offer - make sure you check out the entertainment at the Harbourfront Theatre! Top-notch artists! It's very easy to find your way around Summerside, the city offers scenic views and a shopping district to meet all your needs. It's also very convenient to stay in Summerside as a "home base" for day trips to other parts of the province.

People were very welcoming and nice.

People were very welcoming and nice. The view of the water was charming (on Water St). Lighthouse. Not stressful to drive, easy to find you way around for people who do not know the city. Not a big city, not much activities to do in April. There was Harbourfront Theatre, boardwalk, ice cream shops, restaurants, a few hotels (some were closed for winter season), busy commercial Granville street (shopping malls, stores, restaurants and more). Old charming houses. Great restaurant called Brothers 2(B2)

There is not alot to see in Summerside itself, but there are plenty of attractions and scenery in close proximity. Taking a trip to the west end of the Islan is worth it, and there is always Cavendish to the east. Summerside does have plenty of food options as well.

The bathroom was disgusting...so filthy dirty.

The bathroom was disgusting...so filthy dirty. No clean towels...no hot water...all round filthy dirty. Was absolutely disgusting. Dirty towels and face cloths. Sink, tub, and toilet not cleaned at all. I would never stay there again and would not recommend this place to anybody. The food at Brothers 2 was excellent

The suites are spacious and decorated for the most part with antique furniture which was really beautiful. Ken and Jenny were excellent hosts starting with our communication prior to arrival, everything was explained in detail and our questions were all answered to our satisfaction! We asked if we could get a couple champagne flutes and Ken ran out and bought some ! Of course the ice cream parlor is just below with many flavors and waffle cones all handmade! All situated in the middle of Summerside which is close to everything!

Just an average looking motel from the outside but the room was updated, really clean and comfortable. The grounds were beautiful and it was really quiet. Location was only a short drive from shopping and the boardwalk by the ocean. Only negatives were that one bed was a little uncomfortable and the toilet sounded like a car doing a loud burn out when you flushed.. really it did! Overall, we had a great stay at the sunny isle motel.

Everything about this bed and breakfast was exceptional. The inn keeper (Cate) was friendly and always willing to assist with my inquiries, make sure I was comfortable, and always had a smile on my face. I find myself to be very lucky that I stumbled upon this location, as it was perfect. The food was delicious. I would rate this a 10/10 and would truly make this my go to place for my next visit to PEI.

Perfect location next to the Confederation Trail. Helpful, informative hosts. Stayed in Country View room upstairs. Private entrance from outside access. Beautiful equipped suite and personal touch with fresh cookies and muffins for breakfast. Great spot if you’re in Summerside. Easy access to downtown, and a decent dinner recommendation from the host within a 5min walk, called Brothers 2.

Staff was friendly and extremely helpful accommodating my family and our infant. Awesome veiw of the ocean from the top floor - ive never been to PEI so this was a nice place to book. The Rooms were comfortable and well laid out - a touch small, but it IS MICROTEL - and we did expect smaller rooms! Good location away from all the hustle and bustle of summerside, well worth the stay :)

The property is in an excellent location to visit many PEI attractions. It’s on a quiet street with a private yard. I have stayed in similar units all over the world but have never found one with so many thoughtful enhancements. There is fast access to the highway and it’s close to all Summerside services.

The bed sheets were clean, one mattress was uncomfortable. The main door could not be secured with a chain. The next store guest had a barking dog and was smoking pot heavily. When taking a shower there was no more hot water after a minute or so. The outside of the motel looked very shabby.

Surprised to find towels shaped into animals left in the room. This is something you typically see at boutique hotels. It was a nice touch. Parking is directly in front of the room with plenty of space between you and the next room.
