As I am a visitor from the UK who doesn’t drive I found the transport very useful as Canada is such a vast and open country. Unfortunately it didn’t go to some of the places I wanted. There was also travel disruption so it limited my visits. The improvements that are underway look very promising but at the moment caused too many problems for me especially as I wanted to get to St Jacob’s Farmers market. Better if you have a car.

The staff member at check in was very difficult to understand, she spoke very quietly and very quickly. There was a great deal of noise in the hallway at 2 am with people talking loudly and slamming doors, for at least an hour. None if the fans or temperature control worked, room was very hot and stuffy. When we mentioned our concerns at checkout they didn't really seem to care. Said we should have come down to the front desk to complain about the noise. At 2 am in pajamas? Not even free parking offered as compensation.

We visited Christmas week so a lot of amenities closed.
We visited Christmas week so a lot of amenities closed. Malls were busy with sale shoppers. Overall people in Kitchener were very friendly. There were lots of food locations with a variety of types available to dine. The museums we were able to visit were clean and well presented with interesting information about the area. Kitchener was central to a number of outlying interesting communities with antiques, box stores and outlet stores. Not nearly as much hustle and bustle atmosphere as in much larger cities. Vehicle traffic was good. Would highly recommend Kitchener.

Kitchener is quite a nice place to visit: the downtown area is attractive and it's easy to see the sights on foot. Several good restaurants and pubs are available, and if you enjoy browsing in bookstores you're in luck: there are several right on King Street, which is the main drag in Kitchener and on into the adjacent municipality of Waterloo. If you have time and enjoy walking, definitely venture into the city parks and the residential neighborhoods that adjoin downtown: they're lovely.

Thought of it as lovely suburb of Toronto.
Thought of it as lovely suburb of Toronto. In fact nothing but easier way to.get there. Really nothing for tourists. I thought airport like a junior high version of airport. Taxis difficult if not impossible to come by but with working ATM. Nationwide computer failure by Rogers did not help.

I went to Kitchener from Toronto (Etobicoke) on the first day of December to see the Bingemann Gift of Lights drive-thru--excellent. The next day I went to the St. Jacob's Market and Outlet Stores. I went around 10 am--perfect time to go in the winter months--not too crowded--excellent! Thankfully both days were great weather-wise--sunny in the AM.
Drivers are like Montreal drivers--terrible and very fast. Need a GPS to get around--very, very confusing City to get to events
We had a fabulous time at the Cozy Cottage. We brought our dog and loved being able to let her out to join us when we had breakfast on the patio. There was a trail close to the property so we could walk our dog.
The facilities were ideal to eat the meals we wanted at the cottage. We were close to all of the delivery options and could warm up left overs in the microwave.
We were close to St Jacobs and many fun Conservation Areas.
We highly recommend the Cozy Cottage for those who want to tour local Kitchener and Waterloo sights.
I had booked my stay for 11 nights but had to extend my stay by 1 night more. The hotel staff is amazing, they are very friendly and helpful. I loved each and every bit of my stay specially the location that this hotel is at. Amazing connectivity by public transport and great places to eat nearby. Absolutely enjoyed my stay would highly recommend to go for this above any other two or three star property in Kitchener.
The host was hospitable and very helpful with super prompt replies. The cozy suite had everything needed - clean bathroom with soaps and hair dryer, comfy bed and desk, kitchen with mini fridge, and a large TV with Netflix, Prime Video, and wi-fi. Getting in and out was very easy! It has free parking and is close to attractions in Kitchener-Waterloo. Thank you!
This property is a treasure, tucked away on the outskirts of Kitchener. It has been so tastefully finished, and was very clean. We had everything needed for our stay. The patio area and lawn are private and perfect for relaxing in the evening. The location is excellent for visiting St. Jacob's, Kitchener/Waterloo and the surrounding area.
House was well appointed. The full sized kitchen was great. Four of us, including two teens found it a much better choice that getting a hotel room with two beds. The quiet neighbourhood was nice for walking around. I would definitely stay again. Tesla charger was a total plus!
This is a jewel. The accommodations were superb. Our hosts, Eleanora and Dave are over and above attentive and great to be around. We made some new life friends. We highly recommend this B&B whenever you are in Kitchener. Thanks, Eleanora & Dave!
The property is spacious with all the basics you may need for your stay. Confidently located (walkable to downtown Kitchener) and close to a bus stop into town or a 10 min walk to the tram stop for Waterloo. Great value for money.
I didn’t have the breakfast because I wasn’t able to stay Friday night at the hotel. When I landed for my stay I got sick and ended up in the ER o checked in on Saturday morning instead so only one night instead of two.
Such an amazing and wonderful place to stay. The owners are extremely friendly and the breakfast was super delicious. This was honestly the best hotel stay either me or my spouse have ever experienced.
Rooms are big, comfy beds, personnel is super friendly. Good beer on tap, solid wooden crib available for our LO. Indoor small pool and shopping available right in front
Very kind staff, nice atmosphere, best location in Kitchener. Place next door, Coffee Culture, is a nice spot for coffee and breakfast. Parking garage across the street.
Great location and set up for our visit . Have stayed here a few times now and have been pleased each time and look to book this place whenever in the area.
