Bangkok never sleeps, or so you might think as you fly into Suvarnabhumi International Airport. From luxurious mega malls like MBK and Siam Discovery in Siam Square to the famous Khao San Road in the Banglamphu district, this hard working city is packed with commerce, fiery food and soothing temples.
Catch a boat up river on the Chao Phraya Express or discover different neighborhoods on the blissfully air-conditioned BTS Skytrain. A taxi or exhilarating tuk-tuk ride is never far away from the big attractions, which include Chinatown, Jim Thompson House and the floating markets at Damnoen Saduak.
To step out of the frenetic energy of street food stalls, amulet markets and the sizzling temperatures, discover an oasis of calm in one of the many Buddhist temples. Be awed by the majesty of the Grand Palace and marvel at the world’s longest reclining Buddha at Wat Pho. While you’re there why not relax even more with a traditional Thai massage?
From the sky-scraping luxury hotels with world famous rooftop bars to a cheap hostel bed in the center of town, Booking.com will help you explore all that Bangkok has to offer.

For me this city is a gate to South-East Asia - whenever you go further, you have to start with Bangkok. See the temples, drink smoothies, get a tuk-tuk ride, party on Kaosan, visit aquarium, spot the giant lizards in the sewage, chill in the rooftop pool watching the sunset...
And eat all you can eat!

our visit to the montien riverside was only to serve in transit for one night prior to our return flight tothe uk. We have visited Bangkok on several ocassions and whilst enjoying the hustle and bustle of the city you need to keep a watchful eye on getting ripped off with elevated prices for both food and drink. The street food vendors offer good food at good prices and local night markets can provide some bargains if you shop carefully.
Getting around is easy sky trains are plentiful and offer loads of destination options and metered cabs are also good for short distances. Beware of over friendly locals as they can often scam you. Lots of restaurants offer great food but can be costly.

Bangkok is a wonderfully vibrant city with so many experiences you can really curate a trip to any kind of traveller or trip (budget, luxury, honeymoon, family trip, solo, group etc). Incredibly cheap and easy to get around, along with having allot of easily walkable areas. Main mode of transport I used was trains, ferry's and walking and the occasional taxi and bike to get to further out areas quicker. The street food was delicious and bountiful, loved all of it. I would recommend to stay in Sukumvhit, China Town, Along the river near Icon Siam and Itsaraphap (Neil Niwas) if you want a more authentic experience in a local/quieter area.

Bangkok was a nice city.
Bangkok was a nice city. Very overcrowded but we were expecting it to be. On my list places visited whilst in Thailand, this one places on the last position but due to personal preferences. The temples are good and the streetfood is amazing, also the part of the city centre. However, The other stays like Chiang Mai, Koh Tao island or Ko-samui were so much better fit for my trip and purpose.

Bangkok is absolutely insane.
Bangkok is absolutely insane. Everything that you might ever want is available. There is plenty to see and do.
I recommend taking a hop-on hop-off boat trip. There are too many places to do justice to in a single day. No need to rush to complete a visit.

I've been visiting Bangkok and many other parts of Thailand since the early 90s.
Its always a fun and interesting city for culture, food, partying and shopping.
If you go with an open mind and respect the local people, then you are guaranteed a fabulous time.
I chose this hotel because of its proximity to the airport and the price. It is genuinely only 5 minutes from Suvarmabumi airport which means avoiding the heavy Bangkok traffic. I was transiting overnight in Bangkok which made it perfect. The room was clean and spacious with a rainfall shower. The restaurant was clean and the food was good value for money and tasty. There are fast food outlets 2 minutes walk away for anyone who would rather eat out and the inevitable 7/11 and pharmacy for anything else.you nay have forgotten.
The hotel is conveniently located in the buzzing Sukhumvit area of Bangkok, 10 mins from MBK and other shopping malls, and one street behind the Jim Thompson house. The staff at reception and security was friendly and professional. My room was spacious, clean and quiet. I had all amenities in the bathroom, including free bottles of water.
At check-out, I was asked if I needed a taxi, told the price prior to the reservation and had a wonderful private drive to the airport. That was a nice added service.
Probably the cleanest and comfiest room we had in all our stays in Thailand!! The hosts spoke really good English and are very kind and helpful. We chose this hotel because of an early flight back, it's just 17' from the airport! Also the small garden made us feel like we're still in the Islands or maybe a small village up North. Definitely takes you away from Bangkok's traffic and noise
An absolute Jem
They also provide you with free coffee/ tea or chocolate which was a nice gesture
Really nice hotel! It’s a little back in the alleyways, but it’s safe and very quiet. It’s just a few minutes walk from multiple Maine streets, and about a five minute walk from the subway station.
Very reasonable prices for a nice sized room with a balcony, and the staff was extremely friendly. The breakfast was excellent and varied, and there is a 24 hour water and orange juice Station that we used very often ☺️
I would definitely return here when I come back to Bangkok!
Excellent location about 5min walk to the Asok train station which connects you to the rest of Bangkok.
I also got the train to and from the Airport which took about an hour.
7/11 next the hotel and a large supermarket just down the road. The supermarket is 24/7 very convenient.
I ended up coming back to this hotel after travelling around North Thailand before getting my flight back to UK.
Staff were very helpful. Recommended.
The staff were all very friendly and made me feel like I was in a 5 Star Hotel. For what you get and the cost of the rooms with a king size bed cannot be beat! If I need a hotel again in Bang Kapi Bangkok, that’s were I will be staying from now on! I was in a car and once at the hotel there was nice covered safe parking for it which most hotels at that price do not! Best Value for Price I’ve seen in a LONG time!
I have stayed here numerous times when in Bangkok. The hotel is reasonably priced, clean and comfortable and the staff polite. it’s location makes it easy to get to and from the airport via BTS sky train and Airport rail-link. (Airport to hotel costs 71 baht and takes about 30-45 minutes) A lot of restaurants, shopping centres and tourist areas are either within walking distance or a short ride away via the BTS.
The staff were accommodating.
The hotel is near the Platinum mall, Central world and Pratunam market. Walkable, less than 10 minutes walk to those places.
The nearest train station from the hotel is the ratchaprarop station ( via airport railway link). Less than 10 minute walk.
Ratchachewi station ( via Bangkok BTS) is a 1km walk from the hotel. Approximately 15minutes walk.
All the staff are very friendly and accomodating, we started our stay here for the first part of our trip before travelling to other parts of Thailand across a mix of resorts, private villas and hotels. Sivatel was one of our top 3 stays and if we visit Bangkok in the future we would come back. The rooms are clean and spacious and overall facilities are well maintained.
Le Tada is my favourite place to be in Bangkok and this is my third stay at this hotel. Spacious rooms, Excellent breakfast, homely feel and quiet surroundings with a very good park with lake just opposite to hotel. Besides, many different kinds of restaurants and cafes nearby. Metro connectivity at walking distance and Express way connection to Airport plus point.
Pool was lovely, a great way to unwind after a sweaty walk through Thailand. The location we enjoyed as it wasn’t close to other hotels and gave you a glimpse of the real backstreet Bangkok way of life. There were some nice little places close by to eat. The 7-11 next door made life easy! The staff were also very nice and helpful.
Incredible location, close to the metro. Whatever other people say in our experience this area felt safe, never felt uncomfortable. Very clean, they gave us great bathroom toiletry and above all surprisingly the restaurant attached to the hotel "Munch", was some of the best food we had while in Bangkok at a great price too!
It is a great cozy place - a true representative of good boutique hotel. Best toilets and comfy beds out of 3 hotels I used so far in Bangkok. They met our needs for early check in and check out without extra payment.
Great location if you need a place to stay near Don Mueang (DMK) airport.
This is a clean, safe, elegant and affordable hotel. People who want the best nights near Huai Kwang must come to this hotel. The staff is super nice. The theme of the hotel is really fashionable to see. This is one of the best hotels in Bangkok with the reasonable price I've ever seen.
Location, 10min on foot to the Airport, 7eleven 1min away.
Great for 1night stay waiting for flight.
Perfect communication with staff via whatsapp.
They provide full details how to reach the hotel and check in / out - since it is a contactless checkin and check out.
Price per night.
Terrific location downtown Bangkok and within 2 minutes walk from airport link station that takes you direct to international airport. The manager (she) was VERY helpful as we’re all her staff. A gem of a hotel at an excellent value-for-money price. I’ll be back!
We stayed 3 nights at this hotels in Bangkok and its now my favourite budget hotel for its peaceful and gracious atmosphere. Apart from this its location was Excellent and very good place to stay. Rooms were very clean and modern, nicely renovated !
Friendly and professional staff. The hotel is in a great location near a BTS station only 2 stops from Siam which made it easy to go shopping and explore Bangkok. We used the airport transfer offered by hotel and it was super convenient!
