Beautiful view of the mountains from our room. Was able to get pizza from the kiosk next to the ferry. The room was quite large.

THis was an out of the box destination, full of wonders, history and uniqueness. THis 1910 house is full of skilled wooden carvings, historic furniture , and character. Next door is the wonderful outdoor Viking village complete with ships, grass-roofed cabins, and a well done museum. Having no car, we took the local efficient public bus into Alesund for dinner.

The apartment is very modern with a rustic note. It was probably a basement , but is was transformed very well , it is very well lit and nicely arranged. It is a bit far from the center, but the bus stop is 100 m away. Rema grocery is literally next door. Very quiet area. Thank you

The property is in a forest and there is a view of the fjords from the livingroom and the garden. You can also easily reach the shore by a short walk through the forest. The house itself it well equipped and comfortable, feels just like home. There is an air-fryer which made cooking much easier and plenty of supplies. Also, you can use the hot tub whenever you like. Our host was super friendly and accomodating, when we arrived the hot-tub was already heated for us and answered all our questions about life here and his experiences. We can only recommend the place and the host.
