Paul on the bar/ restaurant was very helpful nothing was to much trouble.
The room very disappointed bed was so close to the wall was difficult trying to get in and out of bed to use the bathroom at night.
I accidentally bumped into the wall and hit my face due to been dark and disorientation and such a very narrow gap,
I also had hip problems so found it Evan more difficult getting pass the bed,
We did ask to upgrade to a bigger room however that was the Sam only 1m bigger so was not prepared to pay the extra £20.
USB does not work next to bed 209 got very hot next to dressing table.
Not to mention the hair dryer got so hot smelt of burning so did not use it ,luckily I had my own.

Worsley is a lovely village, but inaccessible on foot from the hotel. The hotel was very convenient for the RHS Bridgewater Gardens. We visited the Lowry Centre and took a boat trip round the Salford docks and the canal system and were amazed at the redevelopment of the area.

Very nice place situated on the Bridgewater Canal...good walk/cycle ways. Walking distance of RHS Bridgewater. Lots of places to eat including Leopard Pie pizza the best we've eaten...very popular best to book. Regular busses to Manchester Central and other towns. Excellent location

Clean room and bathroom, nice housekeeping staff.
Clean room and bathroom, nice housekeeping staff.
Poorly trained reception manager, reception staff and bar staff.
Breakfast first morning good,
Evening meal in bar overpriced and tables left with plates and glasses on them, staff did not tidy up and stood chatting, they could not pour a pint !
Lack of care for visitors, planned power outage not mentioned on arrival and we were missed out when messages put in rooms! Hence no warm breakfast second morning, showered in dark and couldn’t dry hair!
Apparently we should have read signs (which we hadn’t seen) Left feeling underwhelmed with breakfast issue not sorted ! Reception Manager emailed when we arrived home to offer less than the two breakfasts cost back, I rang and ended up getting a much better response from assistant manager and a better amount back, however I would not recommend nor stay again!

The hotel and golf course were great. Lovely walks nearby.
The hotel and golf course were great. Lovely walks nearby. Taxi ride from away from a large shopping centre.
Nice hot water for showers with lovely fluffy towels.
Only downfall was the price of their coffees that were half full (too much froth) but hey can put up with that.

We used the Worsley when we dropped off our daughter at university. The staff were very friendly. It certainly looks like a good place for golfers as an observer at the 19th hole. A swimming pool is always a bonus, and my wife liked the rest of the spa's amenities. The room was comfortable, and I would be happy to return. Only issue would be to ensure the full English breakfast is piping hot.
This hotel is basic. This is the second time we’ve stayed here but feel it will be the last. The rooms do not have anything special about them. It’s just a place to sleep. You do not feel valued as a guest and the price is much too high for what you get. The breakfast is basic and rather dull. There is no table service at all. When we had a din in the bar all they could offer was a small tumbler. The last time we stayed (3 weeks earlier) they had nice gin glasses but apparently they all been stolen. Not much else to say really.
Public areas were very well designed and nicely appointed. The bar area was well laid out and had a constant flow of guests. Lots of parking but also quick response to Ubers/Taxis if you need one. Hotel is perfect located for Manchester and the surrounding area.
Excellent hotel , bargains in golf shop , excellent breakfast choice , everything from omelettes, poached eggs , pastries, smoked salmon and mackerel to gluten free offerings
Best choice of breakfast in a long time in a range of hotels
The breakfast was great. I’m glad they didn’t shut down the Buffet at exactly 930, because I wanted to sleep in.
I chose the hotel because of the location, since I was going to the nearby RHS garden, Rosemoor.
The room & bed were extremely comfortable and quiet even though next to the motorway. Breakfast was equal to the very best that we have ever had at any hotel here or on the continent.
Big rooms, easy check in and out, hotel clean and well presented. Close to a couple of pubs and hotel bar easy for drinks. Bus stop from city centre drops off right outside!
The hotel was very convenient. Just off the motorway. Clean and tidy with a bar and restaurant. The bar was quiet and comfortable. The staff were polite and helpful.
My husband loves the hotel. We have stayed many times with a big gap in between and twice this year. Gym good and pool, although busy due to holidays. Lots of kids.
