Great position, with a shop, gass station and café by hand and ski slope on the other side of the river. Very friendly and helpful staff, we loved the sauna. I felt like home right away. We will definitely come back in the summer, as it seems like there is a lot to see in the season. 😊

Central location for visiting the fjords, coastal villages,...
Central location for visiting the fjords, coastal villages, national park, glacier, hikes etc. Forde itself does not have much of culture on offer, there is a local open air museum and a modern art museum which are worth a visit though but Forde is a town with a large retail park. We found good eating places hard to find and travelled outside of Forde for dinner most evenings. The art museum has a good cafe/restaurant for lunches.

It's a tiny cozy place done up very nicely to give that home feeling. Old style radio, dolls,fireplace, phone all add to the charm. Comfortable bed. Future guests please note- There are many appliances like a microwave,egg boiler, sandwich toaster,electric kettle. Disposable plates glasses and cutlery is available. And the only sink is in the bathroom.Also no counter space. So meals will have to be planned keeping these limitations in mind.

The breakfast is fantastic and the dinner (paid) is a bit overpriced but really good. The room was small but comfortable for one person (probably okay for 2 if you don’t have a lot of luggage or need to hang out in it for long). The bed is comfortable but pillows were too soft (my constant concern in European hotels!) - but you might like that kind of thing. Great location to explore the area. Wi-Fi is included and fast!

I was already at the Scandic and is a good hotel for the night, for a short term. The room was OK, the swimming pool was not bad, the gymnasium was small. This has buffet for dinner and had many choices and not too expensive. The breakfast was good and with many things and the possibility to take it with you for a small amount, for launch for example. So, for one night I recommend

Clean room with 2 separate beds and a small couch. Rooms are normally used by students from the boarding school. During summer holidays, the school is temporarily in use as hotel. Very friendly staff. Nice breakfast buffet. Several washing machines available (and large drying room) at no extra costs. Common room available with small kitchen, microwave oven and refrigerator.

It is home away from home. Very cozy comfortable and clean, modern design and state of art appliances, has everything that one needs from and more. Excellent location, has a large supermarket store which is a plus for your shooping needs. Easy check in. Excelent communication. Free parking in a garage with direct access to the apartment.

Location is super convenient right by the main road in Førde - so after full day exploring the fjords, you just crash in the bed. In the morning, delicious breakfast with lots of choices is served - different yoghurts, ham, cheese, cereals, smoked salmon, eggs… Perfect! Everything is clean and also the host is very very nice and kind!

The hotel is in a great location ,,,except there are roadworks all around. The rooms were great...except we only got warm water showers The gym was good ..but the bike was broken The sauna was there...but wasnt working

The hotel is conveniently located in Forde for an overnight stay to rest between road trips. The exterior of the building looks great. The best breakfast we ever had in Norway. Free parking. Very friendly staff.
