Happy and helpful staff at motel and EI restaurant. The comfiest bed 🫠 you could ask for and walking distance to river, beach, restaurants and shopping centre. Given Free coffees upon book in for breakfast was a lovely bonus. 😊 Only disappointment was upgraded to balcony for the treat of the view of the river as shown in picture. The Bowling Club was located at the back of the apartment...
The Bowling Club was located at the back of the apartment building and only a short stroll away. Perfect place for dinner. Also love the restaurant at Westport for dinner. We have been there numerous times and never disappointed. We have stayed in PM numerous times and always love coming back. Great accommodation, walks, beach and cafes. The Sea Acres Rainforest is definitely worth a visit and the food at the Cafe is lovely.

Nice Getaway.
Nice Getaway. You can do Jet Ski at $240 per hour, and can swap drivers. Sea Plane ride was good, but not comfortable. Book a day in advance else you have to come back next day. One thing is food is expensive in the place.

Parking in the centre of Port Macquarie was in very short supply. Bikes being ridden on the breakwater path was dangerous. The gentleman cleaning tables and seats on the boardwalk is doing a great and friendly service for the tourists.

Billabong Zoo is a must see when visiting Port Macquarie.
Billabong Zoo is a must see when visiting Port Macquarie. The zoo is easy to get around and can book personal up close encounters with some of the animals such as Koalas, meerkats, red pandas, snow leopards, cheetahs, little monkeys and if you are game snakes. The highlight for me is always the Meerkats. For the little ones you can get food to feed the kangaroos. Lunch at the zoo was very reasonably priced and delicious. Sea Acres boardwalk through the rainforest followed by morning tea or lunch should also go on the list. Westport Bowling Club is great value for money for dinner and a lovely club overlooking the Hastings River. For a lovely Sunday afternoon drink with live entertainment head to The Beach House in the Royal Hotel overlooking the Hastings River.Sue LattaAustralia

Smiles and time to take me to my room and assist in any way. 5 star hotels need to know cold formality is not what service is about. The room and bathroom were spotless and basically brand new. Unexpected value for money. It's in a quiet street close to the CBD. They say no frills or such on a sign as you drive in, but it has all the frills a passing traveller needs..
