I like Lakes Entrance and it is one of my favourite places for holiday so I have been to Lakes Entrance for every holiday about 20 times However this time was the worst experience staying at Esplanade Resort and Spa. The 2 staff Emma and Erin and the manager May were very racist and discrimination. Never want to stay at this resort again..

Had a lovely Chinese birthday dinner at RSL.
Had a lovely Chinese birthday dinner at RSL. Great variety and service.
Lunched at couple coffee shops,
Saw Woolies and Aldi, even though we did not need them.
Booked for luncheon cruise to Metung, but had to cancel - VERY sad about that. That is a MUST do while there. Easy walking around when weather is good.

Lakes Entrance is a lovely place to visit.
Lakes Entrance is a lovely place to visit. I prefer out of season myself as I am older and on my own and it is quieter at that time. Great eating at the Central Hotel and the nearby coffee shop. (Bloody Good Coffee). There are lovely beaches and plenty of things for families riding tracks and mini golf. I enjoyed the boat cruises with Peels Cruises. The 70k was wonderful and then the lunch at Metung never disappoints. I think they are good value too. A good supermarket and other small shops. There is also lots to visit around the area and not far from Bairnsdale.
Well worth a visit........ weather is also surprisingly good all year round.

We were using Lakes Entrance as a stopover on our way to Sydney.
Very pleased with the area.
It was easy to walk around and had a good array of eating establishments - we had Fish and Chips from one of the local shops. the flathead was fresh and well cooked and the owners were very polite.
This is the case with most places.
Kudos to the Visitor Information Centre and the lady who served us

Lakes Entrance is a lovely small beach town.
Lakes Entrance is a lovely small beach town. We were glad to see that it hasn’t become built up like other popular coastal areas. There are a few good options for food. The beach is beautiful and the coastline goes on for ages allowing you to have really lovely and Long Beach walks. There are heaps of opportunities for nature walks and a nice winery nearby. Highly recommend for a short trip!
Great little find. Tucked away from the main street and hustle and bustle of lakes entrance, this B&B has exceptional views and a great host. The room is stocked with items to make yourself continental breakfast and whilst we were there, the host made scones one afternoon for us to enjoy. The host also does a big cooked breakfast for a small extra fee. The social area comes stocked with books and games as well as 5G internet if the weather doesn’t play ball! Will definitely go back.
This is our favourite place to stay in Lakes Entrance. We like booking an apartment so you don't feel cramped. Stayed in quite a few motels/hotels/cottages in Lakes Entrance but as I said before, this one is our favourite. We have one more night for this booking. (We had an unexpected death in the family which resulted in us having to cancel our October holiday - which is why I haven't reviewed as we just came last Tuesday.
This little cottage on the waterfront is delightful. It is a 10 minute walk to the town centre where we were able to purchase fresh seafood from the trawlers and walk beautiful 90 mile beach. The house had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. It was very peaceful watching the black swans and pelicans right in front. Lots of attractions and things to do around Lakes Entrance.
The location is perfect - walking distance to just about everything you'll need (supermarket across the road, most services within easy walking distance, and a manageable walk to the footbridge and beach). The hotel bistro is right next door. The rooms aren't super-luxurious, but they're clean, reasonably comfortable, and surprisingly quiet despite being on the highway.
Management were nice and helpful they made our stay very pleasant and very helpful with local knowledge. Every request was met with a smile and would highly recommend to friends and family. Our first time visit to Lakes Entrance and on a budget wasn't a disappointment enjoyed every moment. Thankyou Matthew of Albatross Motor Inn.
Money-worthy place! The location is so good and convenient to go anywhere. Neat and tidy. Gorgeous view just in front of the apartment. The staff is really friendly and helpful. The parking place is sufficient. Will definitely come again with family or a group of friends. Thank you very much!
Location was excellent with close proximity to all the shops and the beach front. The house was clean and comfortable with all the facilities. The outdoor area was excellent with the fireplace and the whole family could get together in the same area. Would recommend to any.
Staff was friendly and welcoming. The place is very close to the beach and other amenities. They are pet friendly and there was a pool which the kids loved! Units were a good size and the place is good for a few families or friends holidaying together.
Cabins were clean and were fully ready when we checked in. The location is very convenient to shops, restaurants and aqua park. Great way to explore the wonderful town of Lakes Entrance. Will definitely stay here again in the near future.
It’s clean, in a convenient location and the amenities are great! Fiona is a lovely host. Our family had a wonderful stay. I would definitely recommend this place to others who are looking for a place to stay in lakes entrance.
Very cozy and romantic place to spend a holiday with family. I highly recommend. the landlord is so helpful too. if you are finding a wood cottage in fairy tale meanwhile close to all facilities. this is the one.
Clean and comfortable cabins in the centre of town, but also very quiet. Welcoming owners and lots of outdoor games for the kids. Cabin was small for our family of 5, but idea for a short stay.
Lot of space for family. Bed was very comfortable. House was clean and well looked after. Great location, walking distance to centre, supermarket, river and beach.
Loved the personal little touches which made it feel like a home. Also loved the sheets which were the softest I’ve ever slept on and not just boring hotel white.
