We like the room, easy to access with no worries about the key. Wifi was working, easy parking as well.
But no spoons only teaspoons and only two toilet rolls.
3 of us with 3 cups, 3 plates, 3 glasses, 3 sachet of coffee, tea and sugar. It was unusual to see that. Maybe we missed something that we were not prepared for.
Thank you, apart from that it was great to get out and about with the purpose of our visit.

Trying to find the places that we had to go to was interesting as we kept getting lost. I don't think Hamilton is very easy to get around. Went to the Hamilton Zoo really enjoyed it. We ate most of our meals at the Hamilton Workingmens Club which was very nice a great menu.

I didn't feel very safe. A lot of social housing tenants.
I didn't feel very safe. A lot of social housing tenants. Went for a walk and had to negotiate lots and lots of discarded supermarket trolleys just disbanded in the street . Such a pity for what could be a beautiful destination.
Hamilton Gardens. The purpose for the trip exceptional. Well worth the drive down from Auckland.

We went specifically to visit the Gardens.
We went specifically to visit the Gardens. These are so magnificent I would hate to think people could miss them. Having been told it would take us many hours, we were surprised that we were through leisurely in about 2 1/2 hours. We were lucky enough to be there for Balloons over Hamilton - great spectacle, and 2 perfect days!!

When we first arrived, we need to refuel the car.
When we first arrived, we need to refuel the car. We went to the nearest petrol station and wondered why the pump wasn’t working. We had to prepay for our fuel. No signage to advise that and where we come from this isn’t the norm so we were confused and it was not a good first impression of Hamilton. We only stayed there as it is close to Waitomo Caves, but now that we have been, we would not choose to stay there again.

A few bright spots but the only reason I stayed there was to go to Auckland airport the next day. Bus to airport from Hamilton worked well. Otherwise it is not a destination place to me. Loved Cream Eatery for breakfast though!
I stayed on a night during O-week for the Waikato Uni students, so probably the worst night staying in that part of Hamilton, but I was pleasantly surprised because I did not hear a thing! I couldn't believe it because I am a student myself in my year of study, so i am very familiar with O-week. Very happy that my rest was not disturbed at all.
The value for the room is absolutely worth it in terms of the size you get. I've stayed at Novotel one, and in terms of size and value, this one wins all day.
The place was super clean, provided everything you needed, including quality tea/coffee and snack items. It was also great that they provided a little bottle of milk instead of those fiddly milk pods. The bed and bedding was exquisitely comfortable and felt clean. Huge bathroom with awesome shower pressure and choices, shampoo etc was well provided and kitchen had everything we required. So happy with our choice to stay here, we will definitely stay again if we are back in Hamilton.
This is the cleanest place I've ever stayed at, I never walk on hotel carpets in bare feet but I had no issue doing it at this place, great facilities, comfortable bed, great shower, all round fabulous place to stay. The manager was lovely went above and beyond to be helpful.
Can't recommend this place high enough
Loved this hotel had everything we needed including the buffet breakfast was so yumm. Good location. We will be back, staff were so polite and helpful.
The only thing with an infant that I kind of needed in the room was a microwave but we made do without one. My fault I should have booked another room.
Spotlessly clean. Room was warm. Shower really hot. Comfortable bed
Really good continental breakfast - plenty of choice of cereals and bread and lots of fresh fruit
Staff friendly and helpful
Great location
Good value for money
Whenever we are in Hamilton, we always choose this hotel
Good size room, and spotless. Place was immaculate, cleaner than some high end hotels I've stayed in. Location great in Hamilton East, on main road and close to bus routes, plenty of cafes within walking distance. CBD short bus/taxi ride away or is walkable.
The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the owners amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Hamilton
This is the perfect hotel for a weekend getaway
The room was so big and spacious. It was freezing in Hamilton but the room was lovely and warm. It was lovely and clean. Loved being able to do our washing while we were there so didn't need to pack lots of everything
1 night stay, comfy room, nice bar area, didnt eat at the hotel, attended a game at fmg stadium. 20min walk from hotel, central city, casino, food places and bars close by, valet parking. Would stay again.
Very clean, comfortable and well equipped with everything you need.
So much better than the majority of Hamilton Hotels I have stayed at for the past 3 weeks.
I highly recommend Hamilton City Holiday Park.
Really easy to get to by bus from Central Hamilton and the instructions provided for self check in were great. This was a very lived in home and was a bit worn but everything you needed was available.
The location is quiet and close to the city center and Hamilton Zoo. There are many books and toys for the kids. Baby high stairs also available. Perfect for family with kids.
Great large spacious room with vintage character ,in central location of Hamilton City
selection of eateries only moments away , helpful staff ,easy check in
