A clean and comfortable hotel, good for those using it as a pit stop on the way to/from Spain. Its on the main motorway so a way out of the city centre so probably not good for anyone wanting to explore Bordeaux. The restaurant isn't open on a Friday night as the hotel has so few guests but there are plenty of food outlets nearby

Room was clean. Hotel was quiet. Breakfast was as expected. Did not eat in the restaurant at night. If you want a drink in your room, buy it whilst your out, they would not let us buy a bottle of water to take up to the room. Even though they supplied two in the fridge as a welcome.

The staff were very friendly especially with my limited knowledge of the French language. Breakfast was good, and no one rushed me to check out of the hotel. I chose to stay at the Hotel Chantafred as my apartment in Bordeaux was not available and needed a place a to rest and place my things. The Hotel Chantafred was more than enough. I would recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable night's stay !

Very good for travelling by car, close to the highway exit and easy free parking. Hotel is not close to Bordeaux center but it's close to the tram line, making it easy to go to the center. And plenty of restaurants around. In short, a very good stop if you are doing a stopover in Bordeaux.
